As the title says, I think we should be able to save templates or skill trees we've already built that we could load up to save time and have less "clicks".

Example, I build an energy boat, I have a saved skill tree template that I load up and save time, etc.

Yes please.

I'd enjoy it if I could save partial skill trees, I do find there a few nodes that I almost always take, and saving partials for mechs I was doing survival, or mobility, or whatever in would be great.

Yeah there doesn't need to be that many available templates, 2 or 3 would be enough of a base for most mechs.

That's a splendid idea.
It'd be more accesible, and you wouldn't have to rely too much on your own memory.

I 100% agree with this. The less clicks, the better.

They won't do it - the skill tree is only there to create false depth, i.e. its a speed bump to make it feel like there's more to the game than there is.

This (obvious) idea would have been useful when they launched the tree.

Since then I've levelled 150 Mechs the hard way.

I hate to think of all the hours wasted clicking pretty much the same hexagons.

i would like to see a template option.
when tyou have a mech kitted out, "save" the particullar skill template by hjitting hthe save bnutton.
eaCH skill has three possible templates, hit the button and it is transposed onto your tree.\

so i have a weapons scheme i have created, right click the number on which you want to place it, "2" . and hit save.
or just select it in drop down it dont matter.
whe you want to paste it , select it in the drop down, or just hit the nuimber.. 2. and it is there.
you still need to pay for it...
but yea, it would save us all HOURS of time. the more macjs you giot . the less you want to use them, becauise you gotta select every SINLGE ONE. ONE at a tiome, with a delay , cuase yoyu cant select them as fast as you should be able to.

sorry about the typing, stroke, deal with it.
you have a stroke and we see how you type, let alone write.

I need this in my life for both builds and skill tree.

Another option to consider: Make it possible to save skill node layouts you like. Have an option to use the saved layouts to highlight nodes on the skill tree you are working on with a colored dot rather than automatically selecting the nodes. This would allow you to choose and apply the nodes from your saved layout to the mech you are working on as you can afford them. And it would be great for those of us who are thinking "O.K. now what was that layout I wanted to use?" without having to memorize node layouts.

O.K. it probably would not reduce the number of clicks as much but I think it would make it a lot quicker to work out how you want to apply skill nodes to your mechs.

Just a thought anyway!Posted Image

Certainly a good alternative idea. Both would save time I'm sure.
