Personally, I most enjoyed the plain 10F - can go MPL, ML + dual AMS, triple LPPC...

Still working on the ECM, kinda works with dual MRM10's and stealth armor, or ASRM4/SRM6's

It's a skinny Light that can boat accurate, fast-firing SRM2s with jump jets. It's pretty good.

Also, I did get flattened earlier today by a Stealth Jav who ambushed my MLX. So, yes.

As for new lights I'm wanting the cougar with ecm one. Not sure what the differences between it and adder are besides name but it might be fun.

Ya know the mechs that wrecked my Myst Lynx the most were Javelins and Assassins using SRM builds...

This.

We were dropping a 12-man goon squad with B33f last night, ran across another coordinated group using Javs. Since our Lights consisted of MG MLX, MG Locust, and HLL Vipers...we never had a chance. We simply could not compete with that CQC firepower.

I figured I try the ECM version. With 2xSRM4 and 2xSRM2 and 3 tons of ammo.

It's easy, it's fun...but...I get legged all the frigging time. Those legs are really so huge. Then it's not really fun. Never really enjoyed the light gameplay, as their pitiful tonnage requires small close range weapons.

I can't understand how that one fairly well known guy with mechwarrior_numbers_ always runs in his 3xSRM4 Commando.

So has anyone tried the 10P with 6 x Rocket Launcher 20 -- aka. manned torpedo?

Bad? Good? New meta? Hilarious?

I haven't kept up fully with the new-tech release notes. No idea if there's any constraints in place with how many rocket launchers you can shoot at once.

That's Yoki Lin's alt. And he literally just flanks wide, finds the isolated fatboat, kills it, and moves on to the next. The way he engages is by diving close to you before unleashing the volley, and staying there so you can't aim down and hit him. And if you try to use vertical fighting to evade, he will drop two advanced Artillery strikes on your head without even the smallest hesitation.

It's Light play at its most basic, and also most effective.

I've been running mine since release with 4 SRM2s. It doesn't sound like much and I didn't expect much when I built it, but I was pleasantly surprised by how effective it is.
