Wow that's horrendous I'll take it that your enemy team turned into target practice for "it" once again and that's the result?

The names arent important, it does not take long for a account banned for those actions. The problem is those trollers start another new account and repeat the same thing again, THAT is the issue.

As posted before :

One way to combat the multi-account troll would be for you to have to register a valid credit card.

I know this would ring alarm bells for some - but with a tick box to say "never charge my card" would be OK.
Also never save the full card number once verified and hashed.

Then PGI could ban the card ( and associated accounts )

Setting up an alternative email address is childs play and can be automated to create thousands - but setting up credit cards just to troll - I dont think so.

Well, not everybody has one. And although I love this game, I wouldn't get a CC only to play a game.

Well not everyone has/wants a credit/debit card, furthermore who knows if that card number is a stolen card.

You want us to put up our credit card information onto a game website that does not even trust themselves with that information and goes through a third party for security purposes just so you can avoid smurfs that TK? I'd like you really, deeply consider the suggestion that you've just made. Then I'd like you to take that suggestion and beat yourself about the head and shoulders with it.

So my unit had a 10 man drop where we got a group of 2 team "wanna be" killers. Lol anyways its a custom of our unit to ask how everyone is doing in voip being polite and asking for our pugs to work together with us. Anyways I do not remember if they said anything over voip but I do remember one said something in all chat.. "oh i remember (our unit leaders name)" so we are like yeah anyways lets group up at f6 or something. I noticed on the mini map they were positioned 2 squares away at the onset of battle.. im like whatever this is normal for some pugos. Than we proceeded to kill 2 or 3 of the enemy mechs. Than I hear our unit leader call out over voip someone is shooting me in the back. Sure enough the two team attempted killers were lighting up my unit leader. So over comms I call that we elimanate the threat. Without a hick up we turned around decimated the hellbringer and dragon in 10 seconds. Wish we had it video it was epic. Anyways we continued the match and won only losing like 3 or 4 mechs including the wanna be team trolls.

Honestly this is not the first time something like this happened. This paticular time it was highly entertaining. Laughed a good while at how fast we obilterated them for being duchers.

I gave you a practical solution to the problem - You wailed all is woe ! PGI cant be trusted !

Once validated the card details are hashed and stored WITHOUT the 3 digit code from the back of the card that validates transactions.

If you try and re-register a trolled out card - it is checked against the "bad" hashed list and you are told to bog off.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

They do get banned I know this for a fact.
And it didn't take as long as I thought.
That is all I can say.
COC and all.
Oh and everything's better in North Texas.
West Texas is ok and all.

Man! Are you on non-prescripted medication? Seriuosly? Use my MASTER/VISA for that unprotected to all threats of Internet... hmmm... web site? You are really off-your-box. No. I'd rather skip the game, uninstall and go back to League of Legends or World of Warships than do any.... ANY KARL... I mean it... sucurity safety "measures" like "prepaid e-mail", "bank card reg" etc.

Yeah that's the thing. I lived for many years in the Dallas area, and just like the map shows, it's called "North Texas" there. One of the local universities is the University of North Texas, in Denton. *shrug*

Met these two team killers twice now. As you exit the drop ship they turn and destroy the first team mate and then take out the second. They then walk around to the back of the main group that has formed and pick off any stray team mates before attacking the main group.

What could easily be implemented is a ban on team killers. So first time you reported as a team killer nothing happens. Second time in 3 matches that it happens you get a 2 hour ban. If you banned twice its a 24 hour ban.

What is annoying is I am trying to work my way to tier three and get 5 or 6 matches with pilot skill increases and then 1 team killer match where I take a nice big skill decrease because I got TK'ed

It is a problem to be figured out by PGI how to fix it. But i do agree with the credit card registration idea. After all you need the credit card for every purchase of the game, if u dont have a credit card, the chance is you are likely to be the freebie forever. You can also ask your friend to lend your credit card for registration, but your friend will bear the risk of being banned also if you are a wrongdoer, i think it is fair enough.

This game needs more moderation, not credit card sign ups.

How will more moderation fix the problem? Even the trollers got banned instantly after committing the crime, they can start a new account and do it again.
