So I just came back after being gone for a year. I've been playing quickplay just to get back in the mode.

While practicing with my pirates bane max speed I was in a domination match. I was in the circle first and scared a couple light mechs and got the time down to like 9 seconds all by myself. After a bunch of other stuff happened and I died trying to get that 9 down to 0, we lost. The loss is fine. Stuff happens... There is no reward for almost wining the game or taking the time down? That is dumb. Please fix this.

Yes, there should be a C-bill/XP reward for ticking down the clock in Domination. Something like 2400 C-Bills and 72 XP per second of countdown, divided by the number of mechs that are doing the capping. Which will really incentivize Light mechs to get to, and stay in the circle.

Actual winning is only given 10k reward, as losing gives 25k, and winning 35k. Or was is 20/35. Either way winning is not highly rewarded in any modes.

In most cases it works out okay still.

Agree with the OP.

Matches with "required deliverables" like Incursion energy cells, the points in Conquest and the infamous "Dearh Circle" in Domination or the enemy base should be significant rewards.... Otherwise, the match is a skirmish and many matches are lost because a majority of the team just don't care because they are there for kills and damage.....

I've piloted lights to the Dom circle and died there even when the assaults came up but refused to enter the circle in Polar....
In one Conquest match I piloted my ACH and took 5 points and never fired a shot and we decisively won the game..... What I received was 1/10 the other received and they did NOTHING to secure those points for the win..... I've seen this over and over again.... In fact, as I said in an earlier post, several light pilots simply refused to go to the Dom circle losing matches for the team.....

So what has become the point anymore? Kills/damage (I) vis-a-vis teamwork (us)?

Remember kids: the game is just skirmish v1-5, when you play the objective you get bitched at. And lights should be rewarded with tweaking the numbers, like "first cap" or whatever, but then everyone would rush the circle and become an epeen contest to who's got the fastest lights.
Also, seen many a match where either the enemy team never stepped in, or was pushed out and lost because their meds hvys or assaults never pushed up, there needs to be changes to all modes to support both skirmishing, and playing the objective with equal rewards for both, they have just noticed it's easier to kill everyone then bother with anything else.

This could be accurate but does it truly reflect the reward of a win? I've seen Conquest wins where not only do I get a match victory bonus of 35k I get another "Conquest Victory" entry or something like that and the last time I saw this, it had something like 50k+ variable amount tied to this entry.

Do not divide any incentive by the number of mechs in the circle. That's stupid...everyone should be incentivized to be in the circle, and not leave the lights to fend off the enemy push by themselves. They should MULTIPLY this proposed reward by the number of mechs in the circle as it counts down.

Conquest is the only one that works this way. Win or lose, it provides a large base increase to cbill payouts.

That's interesting and it's likely PGI will extend this to other maps. Perhaps as proposed above the timer in Domination could be factored into post game rewards, as well as the damage levels of the VIP in Escort, base damage levels in Incursion and Assault, intel collected and successful extraction in Scout and Orbital Cannon health in Siege.

This is constructive feedback we need to float to PGI asap.
