Just this. What's the point of a jam bar if it never jams. I can hold the fire button well beyond the jam bar indicator and not have any consequence for doing so. It just keeps firing.

That's just not true. Sometimes they can go a good while past the bar fill. But they do still jam and then you're locked out for a time. Besides most people think they're not very good.

It does feel wonky and not entirely a mechanic you can play around with, so much as RNGesus taking the wheel.

nobody likes RNG

RAC should jam when the bar fills up

but it should fire longer before it fills up

that would make it more consistent and less RNG.

Because the bar resets to zero after the jam is cleared, there is literally no reason to stop firing. It seems to take equal or less time to wait for the jam to clear and the bar to reset to zero than wait for the bar to deplete, so you may as well keep firing anyway, if it doesnt jam, great, if it jams, well, you aren't any worse off.

One thing that annoys me about UACs is that if the bar always starts at full after the jam, regardless of the actual position of the bar when the jam occurs. So if the bar is almost to zero, you double tap, it jams, the bar starts at full again after the jam clears. If the bar is half or less, you are better off not double tapping, but RACs dont have this problem so there is no reason to stop firing.

It jams, you just have to push it over the red line.

Anyways i agree to it jamming instantly once the jam-bar is filled, this way it can be balanced differently and is predictable.

For once... just this once....

I'm going to agree with Khobai, bar full= jam.

Now its an awesome feeling getting the shots out after the jam bar fills, but why have a jam bar at all if it doesnt function as intended? For all I know it is working as intended...which I hope is not the case. But then again my definition of working as intended and PGIs prly vary by a good bit.

I don't like the part that it shoots longer though. 5s is already retardedly long, imagine that on a laser just to do around 54 damage, that's dangerously long stare.

Maybe it's best just to compensate for a short jam duration-dissipation of 4.5s. At least we don't need to worry about getting the most stare time every time cause it's just easy to dissipate, just stop and try again.

True, I will say that I do enjoy the fact that sometimes it still shoots after the bar fills. But on the flip side of the coin, I'm abusing the fact that RNGesus exists. A fickle overlord but, overlord none the less. RACs need a tweaking for sure, RAC2 dmg need an uptick, and the problem at hand, jam bar full....still shooting......wait...........................and jam.
