It is with a heavy heart that I report one of House Davion's long time members passed away on the evening of 9/13/2017. The passing of Knightwing *K* was announced by both his brother and step-daughter on social media. No further information is available at this time.

We consider unit members like family, and expect that many others do the same. Therefore, losing a member of your unit is always tough. Losing a member of your unit to the reaper is just... devastating.

We do not know you or this gentlemen - but the pain is quite universally known.

Our hearts go out to you. We wish you all the best in these hours.

I hope this does not violate the MWO TOS, but I'm compelled to post this for my friend and his family.

UPDATE:

After speaking with his wife I have learned that Knightwing (Donnie Johnson) did not have life insurance. He had a 15 year history of heart attacks that made life insurance a non-option. His family is faced with funeral, burial plots, and tombstone costs out of their pocket. If you are willing and able to donate toward those costs his family will definitely appreciate your donations. All funds will be going directly to his family to cover the funeral and burial costs.
