At least for the Clan side, you can get the top tier reward for $65 instead of $80 if you snag the 5 Light heroes available (Jenner IIC, Cheetah, Lynx, Adder and Kit Fox) and any one of the Mediums.

IS only has the one batch of Resistance standalone heroes, so your cheapest option would be all 3 Lights, both Mediums and one Heavy, which still hits $80 if you have none of them. If you have none of them nor any collector packs, it all depends on which mechs you'd rather have.

Just looked on Sarna and the Griffin-5M is supposed to have a light Engine, not an XL. Oh well, at least the XL is worth more C-Bills.

Probably not, though you could always e-mail Support, just in case.

Or check your eligibility page, if you already own those items.

This change is made In an effort to recognize players who purchased Hero Add-ons, or Reinforcement Add-ons .
Hero Add-ons, or Reinforcement Add-ons now combine with Hero Preorders and count toward the requirements to qualify for Top-Tier Packages!

As an Example to qualify for Top-Tier IS reward a player could have
2 Resistance Heroes, 1 Rifleman Hero Add-on, 1 Marauder Hero Add-on,
Archer Reinforcement Add-on, and a Roughneck Reinforcement Add-on.

We really appreciate the all the feedback for the 2017 MechWarrior Online Annual Rewards Program and want to make this change to acknowledge players who have supported us with the purchase of Hero and Reinforcement Add-ons!

If you have made any purchase decisions to qualify for a Top-Ter Reward when you would have qualified under the new rules, feel free to contact support if you wish to make changes.

The eligibility status page will be updated today to reflect these changes.

Wow...that's...just wow. Now everybody's (hopefully) going to wait six hours for the update instead of saying that it isn't working.

Edit: As much as I heartily applaud this change, I must admit though, that's going to really complicate figuring out what you still need to purchase. Maybe if we could get something more like a true event page that lists your partially completed 'annual rewards program tasks.'

It should, but check the page that tells you if you qualify to be sure. It's got a check if you do and an X if you don't.

I apparently qualify for everything except the top tiers, and the only top tier I'm interested is the Victor. I'm not big on Collector editions since they stopped doing Unique Geometry. So I will go the Resistance III route. Will give me a bunch of stuff I can sell and 4 30% cbill mechs instead of only 2 30% cbill mechs. (Sadly I own the other two.)

Thank you PGI but why no combination : 1 Collector Packs + 3or4 (hero mechs/addon-hero) for Top-Tier ???

1 Collector Packs : 30$(light)/40$ .... equivalent at .... 2 addon-heros + 1 heros mech(light) : 40$ no ?

To be fair, the 'PREORDERS' page on your profile tells you when you bought what (except for the timestamp on purchases made on October 18th which still may or may not qualify). But the 'CONTENT' page where you can see what you qualify for doesn't tell you 'you have (X/6) of any of hero add-on, reinforcement add-on, or standalone hero collection purchases OR (Y/2) Collector's Pack add-ons to meet the requirements.'

Of course, I know most people can add whole numbers between zero and six...but with so many new categories added, it'd still be nice to have a running tally on the 'CONTENT' page.
