Just wondering what some of everyones favorite builds are since the skill tree addition?
I'd say personally I'm loving my fast jumper flankers, the Spider 3xMPL+ECM and the Firestarter 8xSMLPL being my top 2 a bit of extra jets goes a long long way

well im a wierd breed, but so far one of my favorite things to run is my Spider 5V with 1x MPL and 1x Tag. got some air strikes, and the tag give the scout mech some utility. not gonna do much of any damage, but it's enough to pull attention away from things more important than you, and help lrm boats do damage. one of the few mechs i actually named. wish i could get an xp bonus for it or some bonus for my dedication to the chassis, but that's being greedy

New weapons are what changed my builds, not the trees. Although I do like the specialization. I don't like feeling forced into spending so many points for seismic, but it's not terrible. I just love my seismic...

I agree with the sentiment for JJs. I enjoy the tree bonuses when I pilot a mech with a lot of them. But I still prefer my 5D w/ 1LL + 2(now ER)ML and ECM.

Enjoying ER lasers on IS side, Heavy Lasers on Clan. The IS U/AC's are nice too.

Kitfox Purifier w/ 2 erMed + 2 hLL

Pretty much put erML anywhere I had a standard ML on any IS mech.

Urbie with 3 LMG + 3 MPL. Only change I did with it since newtech was swapping the MGs for LMGs.
