My pings to Singapore are 300ms instead of 140ish.
Currently playing on NA only.
Its likely many others are affected. ET on Fix is mid October

Where the F do you live.
WA?
I'm QLD and i average 250-320 on OC servers since Beta.
is this some NK end of the world WWIII thread or something? because east coast internet outside of AU has been less than par for years.
They joke that we have worse internet than Kenya (fact).
And i haven't even gotten this new fandangled NBN yet.
lol....

Sydney. You have to pick the right ISP that does the best routing to Sinapore. Many ISPS, even highly rated ones, will give you 220ms ping to Oceanic servers from East coast, and around 250 to NA. I went with DODO and BOOM 130-140 ping to Oceanic and 240 to NA..

It's two cables broken in 3 places? What is it, some sort of tectonic problem?

Definitely very unusual/improbable given the timing and number (if information correct).
That said, i doubt it's beyond the average human intervention.
Tectonic, materials failure or just poor installation may be to blame.
The area is a tectonic hotspot so that's where my money is on.
That, or the cephalopods have finally organised....

Who needs good ping in this game anyway. Its funny how useless NBN has been. Even my ping to aussie servers in the east coast is roughly the same as adsl 2. So very meh.
