Thats awesome allright, I wanted to build a full scale locust in the front yard years ago, i got spousal approval, but sadly the local council said nooooooooo.

how did you get the VT controller to work? I've heard of the ppjoy thing, but I can't find a connector to save my life!

Looks great!! I'd love to know what hardware you are running and how you got the Steel battalion control working (are you running Windows 7?). Would you mind giving a ballpark figure on cost?

They used to have a Battletech gaming console at Jillians and it doesn't even compare this. Wow! That is some great artwork, craftsmanship and dedication right there. Is that thing drivable yet ? j/k

imrunning 3 computers on board an old dell os 98 for mech3/4 a modded xbox for sb and other games and my main unit is a self built dual dual quad 12g/4t. os/ windows 7 . 14.2 surround , total cost for the build was under 3g for ALL of it .. I KNOW HOW to shop LOL , and im a cheep ******* ! btw the mech is only one part of a much bigger gameroom build , and its a bushwacker varient unseen, wasp is only my screen name and mechs nickname , my current project is a fallout fan film > http://www.facebook....309376855759980 . give me a like if ya like !

Very cool piece of work, kind of thing you see made up for TV shows involving VR and the like.

Wow Now all the community needs to d is build our own and then we get the entire feel of the game. I started building mine and got a new mouse. Only 52 more years of of dads game fund to finish my pit.

When I showed my wife, she immediately (and emphatically) said NO!

Maybe I could do something like this when I get rid of our Tesla cockpits :)

Btw , my wife was behind this project from the start ,when we bought the new shop 3yrs ago she thaught ,the fx shop needed a center piece , she also a hard core cosplayer so it was a great back drop LOL .. Posted Image Posted ImagePosted Image a few size ref pics

funny i was going to do the zero g seats , but got a good price on 2 gaming chairs wih sur sound built in .. and yes i do have a great wife , even tho she a Trekie !!!!! LOL JK
