No variant in any of MWOs eras (Succession War, Invasion, Civil War), but since I've added the Toro and Sling there is no reason not to add the Firebee as well...

I for one am pretty happy with the Piranha, and that's what I am probably gonna do with them:
Slots: After Endo-Steel, Ferro-Fibrous and the XL engine you are left with 29 Crit Slots, BUT you'll need to at least add 3 DHS or SHS to meet the required minimum of 10. (XL180 only comes with 7).
Tonnage: With Endo-Steel, Ferro-Fibrous and an 180 XL engine you are left with 10t to 10.5t for weapons of which 3 have to be spent in heat sinks. 10t (HD:5, Rest:MAX), 10.25t (HD:0, Arms:10/12, Rest:MAX), 10.5t (HD:11, Arms:0, Rest:MAX)

PIR-1: 12B 3E 1AMS: Either mixed build with 12x Light MG (3.5t) and 3xER Micro Laser with the 10.25t armor variant or Full Dakka 12 MG (4t) and 1x Micro Pulse Laser with the 10.5t armor variant (I can't get myself to leave a CT hardpoint empty).
PIR-2: 15E 1AMS: Anti-Ghost-Heat variant with ER Large, 8x ER Micro Targeting Comp and lBAP or all in variant with 15x ER Micro Lasers and 13 DHS and lBAP. Group CT,LT,LA and CT,RT,RA and you'll have 8x ER Micros again avoiding ghost heat.
PIR-3: 10B 3E 1AMS: 10x Machine Gun (3.5t) with 4x ER Micro
PIR-A: 8B 3E 4AMS: 8X Machine Gun (2.5t), 1x ER Medium and 4x Laser AMS. One of those in a Piranha Swarm to help the Rest against Streaks?
PIR-B: 4B 6E 1AMS: 4x Light Machine Gun (1t), 6x ER Small 12 DHS.
PIR-CI: 6B 9E 1AMS: 6x Machine Gun (2.5t), 7 Micro Pulse
