I dont see anything listed under events (or future events for that matter). Ive played a few games and checked back, maybe a server sync issue, but no dice. Any ideas on how to clear this up?

WHY, can we NOT see what this challenge entails on the website?
Being a casual player, due to lack of free time, it woulds be nice to at least see what the challenges are before wasting my time opening the portal and then the game only to be let down by a challenge that I would not be interested in attempting.

..this is the issue I'm having as well even after the latest hotfix...blank screen in the events browser.

Man... After playing a few rounds I think I'm just going to wait until this is over. Instead of focusing on teamwork and winning everyone is focused on meeting the event requirements and I am seeing a lot more one sided matches than usual.

I love the idea to not need to leave the game but I and many other are unable to use the tab as it is intended. It does not display anything about the even in game and nor am I able to track it on the website either. Please help!

I started with the CLAN event and finished it yesterday ... NOW my Jägermech DD is working on the IS event and already finished the MG challenges

I dont like that you dont see that you have already done all challenges of a event in the event browser BEFORE you open that event

After completing one of the challenges, I lost access to all event information so can't track progress on any of the other ones.

I'm hoping they extend the event by a day or two?! due to the issue.

Mainly because i'm working 12 hour shifts this weekend and conf. on Monday lol.

done the mg challenges yesterday, clan with a mist lynx and the IS ones with a spider 5k and got to admit Brother MEX was right. mg dmg is not that much of a hassle as i initially thought, i found it even easier to do in the spider than in the mist lynx for some reason, probably because it was my first mech ever piloted and still my favorite mech. of course i had to replace the lpl with an ll for additional ammo, since i only ever used the machine guns on open components before, now i was just shooting every bit of enemy stompys i could find.

speed certainly helps with the challenge, since you dont have the range and need to backstab or group up on targets.

problem is: i had such a blast with the spider and experimenting with builds to cover all the machineguns, that i want to experiment some more, i dont want to do the AC challenges anymore

builds i used: (XL255, endo/ferro on all)
4mg + ll with a bit of armor shedding
4lmg + ll with a bit of armor shedding
4mg + mpl

alternatives im experimenting on
4mg/lmg + snppc/ppc with a bit of armor shedding
4mg/lmg + lpl with a bit of armor shedding and balancing out ammo capacity
4hmg + ll could get tricky because of the weight of the weaponry, i guess i have to cut down on the engine a bit.

disconnect, run the repair tool, reconnect. It'll appear normally.

Change mech then go back to screen, worked for me.

Actually you can get up to 4 rocket girls from this event !
1 from Clan, 1 from IS and up to 2 additonal ROCKETGIRLS after the event if you are a Tournamet Supporter Pack owner BEFORE THE END OF THE EVENT

My feedback for Matt on the event.

1. It's overall a good system. New browser works well... though I don't see anywhere that it's mentioned you have to do this in QP?

2. Accompanying sale is good, too.

3. Damage targets are back to front. It took me just one match to get the AC2 and AC5 targets, but 6 to get the AC20 and AC10. (Due to cooldown and reduced range, it's actually harder to rack up high scores with larger calibre ACs than smaller ones.)

4. Rewards are meh. I spent more than the prize money of 500K CBills refitting Mechs with the required weapons, just to win the two cockpit items I wanted. So I won't bother doing most of the challenges. I'd rather you provided higher CBill rewards, and/or Mechs and/or Mech Bays as prizes, personally.

But overall, well done and thanks.

I think the "E" symbol should be flashing in the toolbar when there's either an active event, or you have rewards to be claimed.
