Quick adjustment, with reasoning:
Moved CASE to the other torso; ammo for Gauss weapons is inert- it's the weapon itself that explodes. T-comp is of only marginal benefit with short-ranged weapons, so it's been removed. Ammo load is likely on the high side, but that's down to preference, so I only dropped one ton. Since both arms are empty, you can shave a bunch of armor off them for more tonnage, which goes back into the lasers (upgraded to MPL- slightly more damage, but the main benefit is less facetime), and the engine (reverted to the stock 260). The result is faster, hits a bit harder, and can shield more effectively with its mostly-empty LT (since the MPLs finish their burn faster).

Thanks I had meant for the case on that side XD. Of course this is my own personal play-style but I don't like pulse lasers lol. I also like using the arm armor to twist and absorb damage so they don't get to my side torsos as fast. But I am going to try dropping the T-comp and up the engine.
*EDIT* Using your suggestions here is what I came up with. Roughneck

No reason to run case on that build. Never see that mech lose the gauss torso and blow up because of damage transfer to CT.

To my knowledge case also help minimize damage to internals from MGs
No it doesn't do that other than being able to crit pad if rngesus is with you. It stops things that explode from transferring damage to other attached components and has very little worth in game.

However.
On a deadside build, specifically a zombie build, where CT hardpoints account for a significant chunk of the build's overall firepower (25% in this case), it's relevant... precisely because the entire right torso is a bomb. Gauss kaboom chance is high, even for IS versions, and HGR takes up 11/12 crits- so, if an enemy attack does crit, the chances of it going anywhere other than the HGR are slim to none. 25 damage isn't lethal on its own... but, if the RT is already badly damaged when the crit rolls, it's a hit the CT takes- which isn't reduced by ordinary damage transfer (correct me if I'm wrong here- I've seen HGR kabooms get kills, which wouldn't happen with 60% reduction theoretically)- which it didn't need to take.
Since the rest of the weapons are CT and head, that's important. If the build were running with all side or arm weapons, or if the lasers weren't the entirety of the secondary battery, it'd be one thing. However, since the lasers are the only other damage output the 'Mech has, they need to survive the HGR being kaboomed. Which, any personal anecdotal experience aside, isn't the most unlikely thing in the world; any good player worth half a damn will be aiming for the side the HGR is in, if they see one mounted. One shot to the back, or one round of focused fire to the front at a bad time, and that's that. The 'Mech may still be alive, but the CT lasers might be gone, leaving the build with all of one head laser to contribute with.
Deadside builds are always risky. Half a ton on a 65-tonner is not a huge sacrifice- certainly not so much so that it would cause a match to be lost for want of the crit and half-ton. Preserving the CT is a big deal on a deadside build; it is your primary shield after the empty torso goes. If the secondary hardpoints are in the CT, more so.
So yeah, CASE makes sense on this build. I'd rather get rid of the AMS or another half ton of ammo than the CASE, here (or even some more armor off the arms and head). It's insurance, except without the half-dozen rejections and denials before you get the benefits you paid for.

Nope just don't bother wasting the one ton and 100 g's.
