Ah; I see we have another man of culture here as well. My alternate account (which I never use) is Blake Belladonna, and multiple of my mechs are named and painted in color schemes suited to the characters. Which is unfortunate in the case of my Spirit Bear, since I named it Yang so it's bright yellow... stands out like a truck. Hits like one, too.

That being said; I hear exactly what you mean. I like 'em. Probably won't pick up a tournament supporter pack; not sure I'm comfortable with spending money right now (stupid car insurance bill and stupid work cutting my hours to a minimum for the majority of the year) but I'll always be listening for these.

I would highly recommend getting the tournament supporter pack, at 3 bucks more than the minimum mc buy value its a steal, I think I've probably gained about 2000-5000mc worth of loot from having it (in store prices) and not even counting the cbills.
IMO, its the best bang for buck purchase in the game, and the extra horns just topped that. At say 750 per horn, you are looking at 3000 mc worth of loot (not that they are for sale me thinks)

Have fun.

For the sake of the world champion competitors I like that PGI is making the supporter pack more enticing. That said I wish they would have made the damn thing available in like, May or even earlier. Alas.

IK is cosmetic fluff and if it interferes with the hit registration I don't want it anywhere near this game. As for it being an esport, it's the only one I find myself watching. To each his own.

I did a whole bunch of the ballistic events and such before getting the tournament supporter pack. Although I doubt the 10% exp and c-bill boost would apply, would I get the extra bonuses (like keys, supply caches, c-bills) from events I have already completed?

Only for ones which were still ongoing when you redeemed the supporter pack on your account (double-check that you did, it's not automatic)

You should get double rewards for all the challenges that you completed as long as you bought the Supporter Pack before the end of the event. The extra rewards will be injected some time after the event is over. (So, any time now.)

It only messes with the hit registration because PGI doesn't know how to program anything. They get halfway through something and then give up. All the recent changes have been xml changes.
