Yeah i know that this is also bad RNG with the MM but I only did 300dmg on avarage, tried different builds but it only got worse.
Are there any good builds for the Executioner that i overlooked or is that mech really beyond salvation?
I would avoid it completely. It's the tallest mech in the clan arsenal (correct me if I'm wrong here) due to the rescaling and it can't absorb damage to be a decent brawler. The saving grace of the Executioner was supposed to be it's MASC, but out of all of the times I used it in brawling it barely saved my ***. The whole concept for the Executioner Prime was a long range platform with MASC and multi directional jump jet mobility to get out of sticky situations.
It's a odd concept, but there is a reason why everyone is saying that it's a niche mech. I think it worked alot better in other mechwarrior titles and on table top, but in MW:O it's a colossal walking CT, has poor heat management, and little pod space to work with that is laughable for an assault. On top of the clan spl/ersml nerfs it became even less viable. Just avoid it until PGI decides to rework the Executioner (which will probably be never) to make it viable once more.

No doubt at all

I own one, but never used it (from some event). I'm sure I could put fear into the mediocre "T1s" of MWO just like any other mech.

The EXE is best used in close quarters, as a strike and return ambusher in places like between buildings.
PROTECT YOUR RIGHT ARM, cose' it houses most of your weapons.
Also, learn to use MASC; it makes the mech one of the most flexible in the whole game.

I made number 1 on the EXE-CH leader board with 4xASRM6 and a UAC20 in the right arm. It's not for everyone but MASC, Jump Jets and Brawl is a great combination. You defiantly need to use some of that Ghost Bear patients on some maps though.

Glad to hear that. I like the EXE, bought it as the wave III arives. I play most of the time a UAC20, 3ER-Med, 3 ER-Sml because of the lack of missle hardpoints. Good news that the machine got some aditional omnipods, will build one of mine to your build.
