I could use some help, I guess:
With so many Roughnecks on sale, and me having non but many Catapults and Cataphracts instead:
Is there a special Roughneck variant that can something non of the mentioned other chassis can?

The quirks are rather generic and "modern", as it seems, following the scheme: Less Hardpoints => bigger quirks, all them generic.
Which is good for not pidgeonholeing the Mech, but does little to ease the decision. ^^

Bought the Jager DD, Hunch 4G, and Roughneck 3A. Looking at the King Crab, Dire Wulf B, and Rifleman 3C. Is the Executioner any good? Heard it's much improved recently.

What else is good on that list? Already have KDK-3 (ok), MAuler MX90 (meh).

Edit: Skipped the EXE. Got King Crab 000, RFL-3C, BSW-X1 and Mist G. Going to finish up with DWF-B, the CP-11-A, SHD-2H, NTG-C and the Black Widow. Great sale!

Made a push and got a BSW-X2, mostly for the XL 275 engine. I know most mechs use LFE now, but it'll still be good in in my RVN. Account is at 250k C-Bills! Do I win the sale?

50% off from cbill prices, during my close to 2 years of playing, that's the first time I see that. I've brought most of my mechs when they were 35% off.

Of course after all that playing I pretty much have most of the mechs I want to, plus quite a stock of cbills. Yesterday I brought one of the Bushwackers to try out 3xRAC2 before it was on sale, but few mills hardly matter anything.

Anyway good sale event.

The mech packs include stuff which you don't get simply buying using the in-game store... like premium time...and mech bays...and cockpit items. When you buy a 50% discount mech in this sale... that's all you're buying...the mech. You don't get a mech bay with it... nor anything else included in the packs.
