Ip Address For Na Server?
#1

I'm having ridiculous IP issues. I'm fairly certain it's my ISP. I'd like to run some trace routings while playing so I have evidence when approaching Verizon. Does anyone know the IP address for the NA server?
Thanks!

Where you getting bad disconnects?
Thats was happening to me earlier today.
Either the game servers were out of sockets or my carrier was messing about with ports, possibly inadvertently closing ephemeral ports.

Seems to work now though, pretty sure it was my ISP though since games would load if i switched to tethering off my cell phone.

Using Windows 10 Resource Monitor, I'm getting 192.99.109.129 when I'm sitting in home screen, not in battle.

Does anybody else have anything to add?
Or

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Resource Monitor.
Select the [Network] tab.
The top subwindow should show all processes with network traffic.
There you click the check box next to the "MWOclient.exe"
In the bottom two subwindows you will now see the filtered network traffic for MWO.
The client usually connects to two or three remote IP addresses.
I guess the one on port 80 (http) is where the client gets the news, colourful advertisements, etc. .
The other addresses should be related to the actual gaming.
On Windows 7
Haven't tried anything like this on 10

Hey there,
Really sorry to hear that you're running into this issue. When you get a chance can you please try running through the following steps and let us know if this issue persists: Try to determine if any Firewall or Anti-Virus software might be preventing a stable connection: - Temporarily disable your Windows Firewall or any 3rd-party firewall software and attempt a connection - Temporarily disable your anti-virus software and attempt a connection - If you are able to establish a connection after disabling any of the above software, you will need to add a profile or filter for MWO in that software to allow a stable connection to go through
Try to determine if your router or modem setup might be contributing to the issue:
- If you are connecting to your modem or router through Wi-Fi, please attempt a direct connection with an Ethernet cable and see if the issue persists
- Try opening the following ports in your router and see if the issue persists:
TCP 45461
TCP 45464
...
Trace Route:
- Press Windows Key + R
- Type CMD
- Click OK
- In the Command Prompt, type: tracert 192.99.109.129
Ping test:
- Press Windows Key + R
- Type CMD
- Click OK
- In the Command Prompt, type: ping -n 10 -w 1000 192.99.109.129
---!
For me it was my AP-WiFi-Gateway-Modem's Firewall.
I Made a Dynamic/Trigger-Port Firewall Rule for TCP 45461-45464
(~port forwarding section of my modem's Firewall Settings)
Rule Name: MWO_10-65k-B_45461-4Gbl_TCP
Type: Trigger Ports
Entry, Protocol______________________, Local OUT Port(s), Global IN Port(s)
1____, Outgoing - tcp, Incoming - tcp, 45461-45464__, 10000-65535
This worked until yesterday!

My temp workaround for "Game Server Disconnect" is:[/color]
AP-Gateway Firewall UP (Medium/Typical)
Logon, Join Game ~click [Quick Play]
Wait till connection at Map Selection
DROP Firewall DOWN to Minimum(Low)
Exposing LAN & modem to the Internet.
Wait Till Mech [Ready] Drop window
RAISE Firewall UP (Medium/Typical)
...Awaiting reply from Support
BTW: How do I turn off this double line spacing this forum keeps adding. >

Entry__Protocol___________________________Global Port(s)_____Local Port(s)
1______Outgoing - udp, Incoming - udp_____20000-20999________40000-65353
