I'm going to go with PGI original, Bob.

Black Lanner.
Definitely going to be the Black Lanner.

A 55 tonner (tonnage bracket that Clanner scum is quite lacking at the moment, with only the Stormcrow sitting there) with MASC capability (despite MASC being kinda garbage).
It also has ECM capable variant.

Can you guys spell "power creep"?
Though, i guess Black Lanner is pretty limited by the massive engine it carries... Still... I really don't see any other mech that would be added instead of it.

Black Lanner.

It's one of those nostalgiamechs that people like for whatever reason, mostly because later art renditions made it look pretty cool. However it has poopy performance, but many of the people who want it won't expect that...that makes it such a perfect option for PGI to add. It also is technically pretty unique as being obnoxiously mobile (MLX speed) for its 55-ton size.

EDIT: Damnit Juodas, you should've given me like 1-2 more minutes to type it up!

Edit - I've changed my mind and will stick with this new choice.

Conjurer (Hellhound). IIC mechs sell well but there's a stigma attached to them of being 'inner sphere rip-offs'. PGI for the purpose of sales could push this out and reap big profits by giving players a metamech without the stigma attached, and drumming up nostalgia from the table top game.

Those capabilities come with a cost...

Relatively low pod space and a dependency on arm hardpoints. But yeah, I agree that it's a pretty likely future gundam in MWO.

I hope for the Black Lanner, but since that is a popular guess, I will go for the Vapor Eagle.

It will probably be the Black Lanner given the last vote that had it winning by a landslide.

My hope though is that it will be a surprise for everyone and that it is something like the Vapor Eagle or Grendel.

Not a Guess Post

Considering how much everyone is a fan of IIC mechs, does the Phoenix Hawk IIC count?

No, because it's an assault gundam.

But I wanna compare the IS and IIC versions in game to see which one is better.

Plus, jazz hands.

Pixie IIC Pros:
+Clan tech
+Gigantic tonnage gap
+Probably better proportioned hitboxes

Pixxie IIC Cons:
-Weird hardpoints on several variants (like the pure ballistic IIC-1 or pure missile IIC-2)
-Not as mobile (but then again the Pixie IIC is still super mobile for its size so I don't think it matters)

Nope. It's Assault. Comes in at 80 tons.

As for my guess, I'll go with the Great Wyrm. In fact, the Hero is easily configured as well:
Great Wyrm Aemelia This customized Clan 'Mech was created by an abandoned Clan Smoke Jaguar warrior named Aemelia on the Draconis Combine world of Rockland in 3062[1]. She evaded capture by the forces of Operation: Bulldog and found herself alone for two years waiting for word from a now dead Clan. She decided to patrol the world alone, dispatching pirates. She took a Great Wyrm BattleMech out of storage from a hidden Jaguar depot and removed ammunition-dependent weapons, replacing them with an ER Large Laser, a Large Pulse Laser, and a pair of Extended Range Medium and Small Lasers.

I am going to go with Grendel. Even though it will most likely be a Black Lanner
