As much as I would hate to see the pile of streaming crud in the game, I suspect strongly that it will be the Black Lanner.

It is most certainly not a good mech. At all. It's a steaming pile of junk. However, it is insanely popular for some inexplicable reason.

I vote for, and want the Vapor Eagle.
I think its better than the Black Lanner because its not an Omnimech and thus far more customizable.

While in a previous thread I voted for the Hellhound/Conjurer and still want to see it, I think I'd like to see the Shadowhawk IIC next. It'll have mainly energy hardpoints with missile or ballistic assist, and the Shadowhawk IIC-8 is a jumping ECM mech.

It might be neat to have a 'Shadowhawk vs Shadowhawk' faction play scouting event (though as an Inner Sphere pilot I'd be dusting off one of my Shadowhawks to see how the old girl handles against the New Hotness).

I am going to pick the Mongrel (Grendel) as I don't particularly like the clan 45 ton mechs presently in the game and I want to see more options at this weight.

I'm thinking Pouncer.

For the time being, I would guess their lawyers are cautioning them away from griffin and shc IIcs. Pouncer has a general shape they can work with and animate, but also alter fairly radically to give it the more recent MWO design treatment. It would be another scouting mode option that does nothing to rock the boat.
