All three IS Capital-Planets surrounded by Clans.
https://mwomercs.com...-2017/#timeline
According to the rules stated in link above, we should have had already, such called Capital Planet Conflicts. In the rules is stated, that the Clans need to surround them for a specific time. But PGI never told how long. But how long is this time days, weeks, months, years, decades?
After the Clans have won 3 Capital Planets Conflicts. Clans have won the season.
So PGI where are these Capital Planet Conflicts? Forgot to program this, because you thought Clans would never conquer IS-territory so fast?

Edit: Actually in previous phases I think the Clans had merely surrounded Terra by June-ish in the previous phases, they didn't have cause to try and take the three home worlds so they didn't bother, but only a blind man could not have anticipated that they would when given the motivation to do so.

It's kinda stupid, but the reason would be, we haven't had it yet. Novelty.
Of course we don't get new map for it, or anything significantly new, but it's still going to be an event. It's something other than FP right now.
And, because it's going to be event, there will be rewards. That means there will be players, lots of them. Probably closer to Tuk events than this fairly small FP event we have now. That will be good for nearly everyone. Of course total noobs will have least fun, but at least they can try to score some rewards.

To funnel rewards to Clanners and Mercs while screwing the I.S. Loyalist once again.
Quote
I played the tukkayid event on 2 accounts. One I.S., one Clan.
On my I.S. account, i did everything "right". I got on teamspeak, I joined groups, I lead groups. Won 80% plus of my invasion matches. At the end of the day all i got was loser rewards.
On my clan account, i did the opposite. I never once joined a group, never once got on teamspeak. Won less than 50% of my invasion matches. But since it was clan it got the winning rewards.
So being a clan pug loser still payed better than being an I.S. pilot.

If they introduced new IS factions along with new clan factions the balance of teams would be much better. The fault is on PGI for not actively managing player incentives, including merc payouts.

Come on Khal, you know BCMC started off as clans last Tuk and switched before the halfway point to fight for the IS; and we were not the only ones.

PGI takes a brief peek at FW every 6-18 months. Then they usually make some sort of change and then ignore the results for another 6 months.
Just because PGI says "In FW, if you do X, Y will happen!" that doesn't mean anything at all in FW. Nothing. It was their position at the time. It may happen in a few months, it may never happen. There is literally the same odds that IS will be judged to be over performi g and get their tonnage nerfed to 225 as their is that we will have the promised event.

But you were mercs then. You're not now. Nor are a substantial number of other units.

Only to a degree. KCom for example, is JF loyalist, despite the fact there are new Clans for new rewards.
