A single victory that now finally shows... what about the not registered ones ?

Glad I bailed out of the event for enough time.

But half of it achieved and not counting is not good at all. Specially with how things go a lot around FP. Posted Image

Clans have FOUR good brawley mediums... play one of them.

The Huntsman is hands down the best. More tonnage available than a stormcrow and better hardpoint options, plus jump jets. The Hero with the stock pods is the most agile and can be run with 3 MPL, 4 SSRM4, AMS, LAP.

Nova would be next, since they DID get quirks including structure armor ones. Also the ability to bring a double or triple AMS setup is great since so many IS mechs rely on SRMs and MRMs. In a close scouting brawl you'll shoot down a LOT of missiles and effectively that's free armor protection. They're as agile as the huntsman (other than its Hero).

Shadow Cat is next, and before you laugh do bear in mind its more agile and faster than the two above, as well as the 4th place choice below, and does that WITH 17 tons of pod space. My favourite build is 2 ERML or HML, 3 SSRM6 w/3.5 tons of ammo, 1 extra DHS, an extra half ton of armor, and ECM. Take a B variant and install the A's right torso. Establish a lock...jump OVER the target and start chain firing the streaks downwards onto them. Better chance to focus the missile hits to the arms/torso and not hit the legs.

The hunchie 2C is the last one, because its the least agile, has the worst firing arcs since aside from the hero all the weapons are in the torso, and there are no quirks at all to take advantage of. Its only advantage at all is that you can potentially have more tonnage than the huntsman. I'd much rather take an Ice Ferret though, because even without anymore armor than the shadow cat, it does have better structure quirks, and more speed, and still enough tonnage of pod space for its hard points to run a decent hard hitting weapons load.

The one ?! We had one only 2 weeks ago. The faction play drop deck challenge. It ran from Sep 28 to Oct 5.

Any one else do the challenge and its not registering on the event page? I got 13 x 150 match score and it hasn't shown up

Further to using AMS... lots of clan players run streaks and ATMs... at close range thats 2-3 damage per missile. For IS players running SRMs and MRMs... 1-2 damage per missile. Rockets are 2 damage each. Say you go up against some Griffin 2Ns with quad SRM6 builds. Even if your AMS only stops 30 missiles in the match, that's 60 damage prevented. That's more than 1.5 tons of armor protection. There's only four of you remember, and if you're close together your AMS protection will stack on one another. I've come out of long scout brawls with a couple hundred missiles shot down.

Anyway on my first account of the night...after 10 matches i've finished all the objective rewards by just scouting (one of the games only had a 146 match score). 3 more matches hopefully and I'll have the conflict reward requirements done. Then I just have to wait to the event ends to find out if that account gets a mech or four million.

No Clan Bias but I ambush a shutdown Hunchy2 from 50m with a Rockect luncherx3 120 alpha strike and the Hunchis walks away and starts shooting back. (for the record I stopped my own mech too to fuly aim at his back)

Fair game... with all their CLRMS and heavy lasers...

Were you outside the 50 meter minimum range for the rockets ? 50 m exactly is still within the range where they do no damage.

I have a question:
my unit is fighting as Mercenary for the Liao. I fought in 3 faction battles (> 200 points each) but no reward.
I am at 0/3..... any suggestion?

I never said Clans didn't have brawly mediums. Just that Brawler Mediums completely dominate that mode to the point that playing ANYTHING else is a recipe to lose.

In scouting, you're better off brainlessly running an SRM boat and point-blank spamming than you are trying to do much else. And to me, that's not fun.

And on the Huntsman, to be a decent SRM brawler, you really need to pony up cash for the Hero. Without those 2 2x Missile Torsos, the convergence on SRMs is terrible.

Take the P, run A-SRM6s with the two spread nodes per arm, on seperate fire groups (say mouse click 1 and 2), then point and shoot. Optionally add the two side torsos from the other cbill variants with the 1 hardpoint each, and carry two streaks as well since once you point your arm crosshairs onto it...the streaks will hit there too with a lock...

An urgent call to arm's only happens when a team has been waiting for 5 minutes for an opponent. During events this hardly ever happens except during during off-peak hours. Thanks to population imbalance, you'll pretty much never see a clan call to arm's for freelancers.

There's a category for Kurita Loyalists, Smoke Jaguar Loyalists, then general personnel. You might be clicking the Loyalist ones.

I did what i had to for the rewards. At the end i was really upset about balance, like FY everything (well, MWO can do that to a person). But people who fought alongside me were just wonderful.. I will not quit till the end, bitter or sweet. More Zeus' wrecks are incoming!

anyone having an issue getting the 12 game reward? or are you supposed to play a 13trh? It shows the unlocked lock at event screen and when I go to the 12 win, shows a checkmark but not unlocked.

The 12 game reward won't be determined until the win/lose condition for the end of the event is satisfied. All you can collect along the way is up to the 9 game reward.

Create a battle value. Scouting is showing us that the less player you have, the more important it is to have the best mech with the best laodout on the battlefield. One special snowflakes tip the balance way too hard.

The 12 game prize depends on if it's Clan or IS that wins at the very end of the event. If your side wins, you get a mech. If your side loses, you get 4 mil cbills.
