I thought I must be the only one who still can't see anything in the Events page. I think the two week period after each event for rewards to remain available is when we can expect to have our rewards - one way or another, else word from mwo about how to proceed. It takes part of the fun away from events when rewards are not awarded

The only thing that disappoints me is that for individual events there is now an implied collective necessity to receive the supporter pack rewards. Had this been stated upfront for the mechtober events I might have tried harder for the headshot one, which is the only one I skipped and now will receive only half the potential gains.
I won't call it upset, just meh, I expected rewards per event as has been the trend thus far. So I was expecting 5/6 supporter rewards for 5/6 completions, but it is now 1/2 for 5/6, but such is life.
Still fun events though, and I know you guys are finding your way around the new system so I am still a happy camper, and this is just to provide feedback.

@Matt, I really want to buy the Piranha, but the pre-order ends whilst the loyalty purchases still count for this years' one. Is there any chance that the the pre-order window for the piranha could be extended till after this years eligibility closes. I already have the ultimate level unlocked, to buying it now would be wasteful from a loyalty pov, and not buying it during the pre-order means not getting those cool rewards, which translates into me waiting for it to be available for CBills instead. This thus leads to a loss of a sale. I know I am just one player, but I have a fairly good idea I am not the only one reasoning like this.

You may have misunderstood the bonus? You need only have completed 3 of the 6 events to get the bonus. I got 5 of the challenges done save for the headshot one, but got the 1.5m cb injection. There are no other bonuses eg doubling.

Right you are good sir, I understood it to mean, two separate 1.5m options instead of get at least 3 of 6.

PGI changed the conditions of the tournament pack "bonus" for this event. The way it was explained when the tournament pack was first offered, and the way it had been run up until the Mech-Toberfest event, is that for "every" challenge that is completed for a reward, an additional reward would be given out to those with the tournament pack. This changed for the Mech-Toberfest event. Now the condition is having to complete 3 reward items for an additional bonus item.

This is not the way it was first advertised and not the best business practice! To change the conditions of an offering in mid-stream, should be unthinkable! PGI needs to think through these offerings, BEFORE making them public for purchase. This, in my opinion, is one of the reasons so many player get frustrated with PGI.

I wasn't able to participate fully in this event. But I did finish at least one challenge for a reward and I was expecting to receive an addition reward bonus based on the way PGI first published to conditions/offerings for the tournament pack and it's bonuses.

I've always found PGI's customer support very helpful and responsive, but I don't believe that they can do anything about this. So, I decided to post this here. I hope that in the future, PGI will realign it's bonus offering with the way it was first presented.

Why would you want to down grade the offering if you are still trying to get people to buy the Tournament Pack?

The way I interpreted it, the 6 Day Challenge was all along meant to be a 6-Challenge Event, not 6 Events. With the completion of 6 challenges you got a bonus if you met certain requirements. While I agree PGI should have made the bonus known up front rather than as an afterthought, the idea that because it was posted as 6 separate events, there should be 6 separate bonuses, I don't agree with.

I could be making excuses for PGI, but I gather they are trying out different combinations with their new Event system and working out the kinks, and expecting 6 bonuses from the 6 Day event is simply asking for too much.

Or put it another way, if they had stated that the 6 challenges would have 6 separate bonuses, but each bonus was 250,000 cbills, would you have been happier? I would not.

Previous events (listed on one page as one event) had separate Tournament Supporter Bonuses for each challenge within the single event. If you completed one challenge you got the Tournament Supporter Bonus for that challenge without having to achieve any other challenge in the event. Not half, not all...one single challenge.

Also, if the prize for that challenge was a warhorn and some MC, the Tournament Supporter Bonus was another warhorn and some MC. Nobody promised it would remain that way, but 'here's some lousy C-Bills, so stop calling us out about the promises we made when we sold you something for which you paid real money' isn't exactly a good look. We already get C-Bills from being Tournament Supporters. When we have to ask for what we've paid for is the time to step it up on compensation because WE weren't the ones who screwed up.

You can still play the events and earn the prizes. Like the patch says they are going to fix it tuesday.

I was wondering where that free cash came from!
Admitedly, knowing up from what bonus, and what the requirements to earn that bonus, would be in the event would have been appreciated as well.

Personally, I think the tournament supporter pack has been one of the single best investments I have made in MWO in a long time, and I will happily be purchasing it again, if it is on offer for 2018.

They had one last year and if you bought again this year they gave a cockpit item or something or was it a title. So there will be a 2018 version, as long as there is a MechCon every year. I think MechCon gives PGI a needed yearly cash injection so yeah there will be a tournament every year and thus a support pack every year.

Support Pack owners, do you remember why or how we'd get a 1.25m cbill account injection from the Luthien event? The event webpage is down right now, and the ingame event viewer doesn't show Support Pack bonuses, but logging in just now I got a 1.25m cbill account injection, which I assumed is due to the Luthien FP event.

Iirc it was - this time - stated beforehand that supporters would get 250.000 for each completed challenge of the Luthien event. So, if you completed the 12* 150 matchscore and won a scouting match, thats 5 challenges completed and 1.25m for you.
