See this is exactly what makes it so hard to defend PGI: utter lack of knowledge of their own game.

Just like the last event wich had an RNG element ('win one of every gamemode'), this is a problem actual PLAYERS could have seen coming from miles away.

Let's hope there is an easy - and fast - fix.

Very annoying with limited playtime. Vote for a planet and then in 4 hours have a 1 in 8 chance of match counting? Hopefully the will fix the issue soon.

Best bit - If I'm understanding this right, the Clanners can only can initiate fights that count on 3 worlds (4 if Luthein counts. I thought capitals couldn't be taken at the moment?). And I imagine that, by the end of the event, matches that count will only be possible on IS attacked planets.

Will not play more for a couple of days... done at least 10 150+games and upgraded some medium with scouting weaponloads and light engines...nothing registered because of planet choice ?

It cost a lot to do event these days... bought for 10 million bucks of autocannons last time, lol

Or proper forum edict. Or getting anything done.

Bumping things every 14 minutes accomplishes exactly one thing - It makes the forum more of a hassle for fellow players. That's it. You're not spreading awareness, or spurring the developers on. You're just cluttering everything up with garbage.

If you want to help, the only thing you can do right now is vote for the right planets, or bug Russ directly (Though honestly, the only fix likely is just an announcement that makes the planet requirements more explicit).

EDIT: Unrelated and for everyone else, I'm actually not familiar with Scouting... is it linked to planets? I thought the whole point of it was FP without all the useless map hassle.

guys when they have an event like this

your only chance is to slip in at the start and get a few wins

that's what I did and got 3 wins (one a scouting mission)
last match was the type of royal butt kicking I am used to getting

don't forget to mark down all your matches and your match score

I am going back to QP

Oh, I got plenty of wins in, they're not registering though... .

Yeah, the wins aren't the problem, even forming a non-unit random group results in 50 ish percent wins or so. Gotten several in this afternoon. the issue is that they're not registering...

PGI's having some internet issues thats preventing them from looking into the issue or clarifying the requirements at the moment.

I suspect that, when all is said and done, all that we're going to get is a clarification that to get this done, people have to fight on the right planets. I dunno how that's going to work out for everyone though.

I know its a Tweet, and thus not a lot of detail is allowed, but did he say what the 'fix' was? Now that this whole things started, I'm trying to figure out what in the hell the Conflict Planets are about, if not a requirement for the events completion.
