The canon Nightstars are asymmetrical anyway. When creating non-canon variants, one could care a little for gameplay concerns.
I don't think many would complain about a higher LT mount... (some would, of course).

Its nice to have the points on the left be as usefully mounted for counterpushing Nascar as with the speed of the NS's we sure as anything wont be keeping up with them :)

Please even up the weapon locations by raising the left hand mounts and pulling the arms in :)

Is it just me, or does it look like the Nova Cat's arms seem to hang a little lower than they should be?

Jeez, the Nightstar is developing itself into a Nightmare. Who thought it was a good idea to make the LT mount asymetrical? Btw, could you please stop doing those lazy square lasers and do something that pleases the eye? Thanks.

And yes, the arm Mounts on the NovaCat are to low. It should be NightGyr-level.

it seems like nobody cares that two titles repeat titles for a wolfhound and a supernova

Come up with NEW titles ? why would PGI be at all original ? Last time they did that (roughneck) people complained. Not sure why there needs to be titles anymore anyway.

Well you did notice that the Nova Cat got round laser tubes? So I guess its not impossible to revamp laser models on other mechs, where it would fit. Top of my mind are the Warhawk and Mad Dogs energy arms. but I bet the Warhammer and even the Marauder would look goodt with round lasers too.

Osiris art made the side torsos look smaller. Hopefully that won't hurt too bad on lights that don't have torso structure quirks. Still excited though but I foresee an easy to pop 30 tonner unless they jam an LFE in it.

If you succeed, I will probably pick up the reinforcements.

Nova Cat

Yeah they do. Its not too bad though. And those ST energy are as high as can be.

Why 1 model of Nightstar have armor quirks and all other structure quirks?
Why no actual energy and ballistic quirks for Nightstar if Nova Cat go it?

Nightstar can be perfect mech with NO any quirks, but only if it will be clantech weapon and DHS. Posted Image

Agree on the wolf, that thing is tiny AF.
The osiris is terrible from the side, especially with legs that big.
Nightstar - DOA looks like it weighs more than a KGC
Nova Cat- not half bad actually. A little big, but technically shorter than the Gyr, and the hitboxes look a little better too. Not terribly slow like the gyr either.

I gotta be suspect of the Arctic Wolf's scaling. How the heck does it come out, volumetrically, so significantly smaller than the Assassin?

It's as small as the Viper, without any kind of nose or egg shape to be eating up volume.

I want to see it next to a Wolfhound.

It actually makes sense for the Arctic Wolf to be that small, its covered in missile boxes that will equal out its volume to the other 40 tonners

Legs are fine, ST looks fine too. Its just 30t prescale locust with more tonnage for weapons and jj.

All weapons in big wide arms with huge CT and STs. Yeah, not bad(no).

Same speed.

However, being lighter, and with engine desync, probably turns and accelerates faster than the Gyr.

I wish it was a little more narrow, as it looks a bit wide for the frame. Especially in the arms. However, it has some great CT protection from the sides. I mean, you sacrifice half of your firepower to protect that CT and ST, but, wow. Total shield arms.

Still has the dorky looking cockpit, though. Still no angular V window. Not as bad as the concept art was, but still makes me a little sad.

The Gyr has like 13 kph/s accel right? Nova Cat has 20 kph/s accel, so it has a higher base agility rating.

As expected in a mech 5 tons lighter. :P Same top speed, though. That said, it was never the speed of the Gyr that turned me off from it, but its handling. Maybe the Nova Cat will feel good enough for me.

Yeah I mean the Night Gyr is the most sluggish 75 tonner in the game. 20 kph/s, that's like 50 % higher acceleration than the Gyr, should feel noticeably better. Torso twist range is good too.

Just kidding, Night Gyr is at 10.79!!! Nova Cat will feel way better. It has the same agility as a Warhammer.
