So I re-read the patch notes and I was looking for something positive.
At least they buffed 3L Raven with dual ER Large Lasers... Give me second there is one more. They buffed the Velocity Node in the Skill tree, so now its easier to land hits with my ping. There, feel so much better now.

The positive, as I see it are:
1. AC's - with exception of the AC20's are now better with velocity.
2. PGI reduced laser vomit damage output by about 33%. Hard to brawl with lasers now.
3. PPC's will travel faster with the velocity boost in the skill tree.
4. Confirmation of loss bias being more painful the gains.

Positives:
AC/10 + PPCs will actually work pretty well now.
SPL and cSPL might become more desirable. Maybe. Probably not.
Some of the lasers are supposed to be brawling lasers, though. Most notably all the smalls and the IS Medium/Medium Pulse.

It's not a faction thing, because the IS got many weapons and one heavy chassis directly nerfed and one assault kinda nerfed (but with mobility compensation at least).

Not alot of nice things to say about this patch. They just nerfed nearly 90% of my mechs for what I see as no reason. Only my SRM Mechs were not touched.

I'll wait to see how all the weapon changes pan out but as a positive I'm glad to see my beloved (and often neglected) Jenner getting some mobility back. Granted the size, profile, and hitboxes will still be a problem but since that won't be changing anytime soon the extra mobility is welcome.
