I dont think there is enough population to do this.

When the new tech the gap closed but the clans got new tech to so the gap stay the same. Clan never fight equal against inner sphere they tool the bottom amount need to cut down on waste. So a clan drop of say 265 tons would never fight a inner group of the same tonnage to do so would dishonor the clan warrior and there clan.


So if inner sphere has to drop at 265 tonnage the clan tonnage should be lower or the inner sphere tonnage should be higher. It that simple. If PGI would look at the stats after this event they would see that the clans are ROFL stomping most Inner Sphere forces unless it a premade inner sphere group then it get to be a closer fight.


Lrms or not a good idea on all maps Polar Highland yes Frozen City yes. that just to maps.

Scout mode pretty much sucks now unless your a premade team. Tired of seeing clan mechs of mostly machine guns ok quick less in clan tactics they didnt ever take enough ammo it why they loss the invasion. Seeing a nova wilth all machine is wrong and i dont see a down side to carrying all machine no heat issue at all something need to be done on this but i have know idea maybe a each machine must have a it own ammo know sharing to keep from boating but that wount happen since we have the be all and end all machine gun mech coming.

Third thing a hunch back can not take a salvo from 4 rocket 20 and not done especailly against back armor. Did it 3 times in the event and didnt die i saw him stand up to 3 m3echs firing at him and he didnt die. Fix the issue.

A new scout or 4 man mode is needed.

More maps would be nice to i like the standard mode in invasion the conquest the domination assault and skirmish modes or fun.

Before you get mad it my thoughts and everyone has them but this is mine i wont stop playing but my spending is being cut since it getting to be the same old same old.

Two separate idea here, but the brawly medim rush first wave is actually a fantastic tactic for a lot of maps (doesn't work on Siege attacks, due to the gates, obviously). You absolutely can't do this without an organized team, so it's not like just dropping medium/heavy first is the solution, but it's extremely hard to counter a brawl, especially if you don't expect it.
As an example, this match (IS vs a partial EVIL team):



Everything went sideways after the first wave, but the first one was pretty glorious.

The LRMers are there because they are beginners at the game. They probably don't all have enough mechs to make different efficient drop decks for different maps and modes. For a beginner, LRMs are a way to focus fire without having the experience to be in the right spot to shoot the same target. Beginner opponents end up in the open too, so that is a very effective tactic on that level. I think the mode needs a big warning sign that it is not for beginners.

Remove trial mechs from CW, period.

Why are they even allowed knowing what is in the CW Warning? Honestly, warning tells the reader it is for highly customized mechs/drop decks.

Be nice to see the end of PGI giving the actual gun to shoot themselves in the foot with.

Trial Mechs in CW are not in any way positive to CW game mode or the people that play it.

Yeah. The teams need to be organized and competent otherwise those IS pilots need to get ready to be rolled over unless in a rare case that IS team is semi organized and competent. On siege you have to drop your fast brawlers on the 2nd or 3rd wave unless it’s defense then of course heaviest first applies.

Everyone likes to tell how IS invasion are full of baddies but everyone ignore Clan scouting.

Ive seen the worst noobs or otherwise lazy players since i switch to clan in my mwo history. I thought we were good when i was scouting with IS but i never stopped to analyse the opposition. Boating streaks is the norm, laser guy who sit at 400 meters of a fight is also the norm, people with 2 weapon system that dont have similar range/use, i saw uac2 boating! Everyone tries to blow every part of a mech before killing it, its maddening. They end with 500 damage and one, only one, kill and i seriously doubt its a solo.

At least on IS everybody fight and everybody try, its very rare to get a trial though you remember it bitterly. People who cant field a good mech on IS side are a problem. Everyone has a good mech on the Clan side but few knows what to do with it.

IMO FP should not even be available to play unless you own at least 8 mechs for the side you are joining.

I laughed so hard it hurt when I saw, "Battle of Luthien approaching". Seriously? The CIVIL WAR and we went backwards to a time before the battle of Tukkayid, after we've already had 3 battles of Tukayyid? Are you freakin' dense? We're supposed to be doing Fed vs. Com or Wolf vs. Falcon, not this old Kurita vs Jaguar crap. If anything it should be Jaguar vs. all the Inner Sphere, but even that would suck with current faction imbalance.

I did slightly more than 22 FP matches during this event, and posted 10/12 Clan FP matches higher than 150 MS, and most if not all of them were wins. On the flip side I did 12/12 IS FP matches higher than 150 MS, and most if not all of them were losses, and if they were Siege Attacks, guaranteed loss plus might not even get 150 MS.

I'm just gonna cash out and go back to QP.

Adding clans to this game, was literally, the worst decision they could have made.

I love clan mechs, but my heart lays with the innersphere... if we'd stuck to baseline 3025 era tech, honestly the Faction Play mode would be much more fun. But the current clan v IS balance is just a mess.

Dunno, I use the trial Orion in my drop deck and it seems to work fine. Admittedly, I'm a noob but that's why I need a trial mech to fill my drop deck.

I average 5 posts a day. What are you trying to communicate? 5 posts a day is nothing. What's 5 posts? Literally the time it takes to wait for an FP game to spool up. And it's 5 posts a day HERE. You haven't even counted the posts I do elsewhere for other games and social media, or the tons of chat on Unit Discord while SEARCHING.

Lighten up. There are these creatures called forum warriors. Sometimes they do good, sometimes bad. Mostly just filler. Fine.

If we are to believe PGI, latest nerf hammer is because all the nerf calls on forums and elsewhere. And there comes your 6 weeks of exp. I did not comb through you posts, but making long reaching conclusions after that time is bit bold. This game has very hard learning curve, even for hardcore players.

After 2 years of active playing, i still make lot of mistakes and moves that thinking later were not best ones.

5 posts is well above average though there are plenty with higher daily post count.

Good thought, but IMO should be 4 at least. 8 would be better, but 4 is bare minimum.

I understand.

However, what did the warning message tell you about the mode? HIGHLY customized DD and Mechs. Trials are NOT anywhere near that.

You are hamstringing yourself and your team/side by taking them. You may do OK with it, but far better with an Orion you own and have made your own in build and skills.

Why in the world would PGI allow some new player, fresh install, to load up 4 Trails and take them into CW? It is asinine to allow that to happen. Stupid to let a player to that to themselves and others when PGI tells you/us what this mode is for and about.

END TRIALS IN CW!

That would be a first step in the right direction for a change.

This is bad design and must end for the health of the mode and protect the seals from themselves.

You would not let a L1 come along on some L60 End Game 48 man Raid taking starter gear.

Easy solution, make all trial mechs Clan mechs.
Just an idea.
