I can't continue to play this game that I have loved for years due to the constant jitter and stutter while piloting mechs. It's been getting worse over the last 6-7 patches and now its unplayable.
It's not just in battle, it also occurs while moving on 50% of the maps. A ping of 200 - 250 was good enough (Ocianic) but now it is not.
I don't want to go, but this is so unpayable now.
Yes my computer is good enough.
NO, its not the connection. (same connection for the last 2 years. Also my ping has dropped by 40-50ms)
That leaves the game.
I've tried a fresh install, tried turning all settings down.
Thanks for the years of fun.

Wrong. It also leaves the routing between your "connection" (whatever you mean with that) and the destination (MWO servers).
Also, use a little commons sense:
- why/how would a fault on the PGi side (client or server) drop the network ping? HOW?
- IF it were the game (either client or server), then ALL of us had the problem. That is not the case.
Apart from that:
When I read what you write, I'm happy to see you leave.
Also, no "I'm leaving" threads, so that's a report.

You do know that almost every major Australian ISP has been affected by the hurricanes north of Australia, right? That three out of the 4 undersea cables linking our great land down under have been severed, which has had a supreme impact on ping jitter and connection stability in general?
The same thing is affecting me. Sometimes it's ok, but at peak times it's all over the place. The damage was expected to be repaired by the 13th of October, but that hasn't come to pass yet, and it's predicted that it will be late October at the earliest.
Nothing PGI can do about that.

Come back when 8v8 goes live. It would definitely increase your framerates. Taking a break now and then is not a bad idea.
