Yes, our MS guys are pleasantly surprised by how well it can laservomit.

Expect PGI to give it crap agility after C-Bill release.

What vomit build are you using? I tried 2 LPL 5 MPL but dropped in Polar and got frustrated and changed to something completely different. Got home at like 10pm so didn't have a lot of time to experiment.

The Nova Cat is a thing of beauty - everything about it, from the fitting to the handling, just feels right somehow - plus the awesome letterbox cockpit and frosty cooling with max skills is icing on the cat cake. Took the Prime(S) out for its inaugural match last night and loved every minute of it. Very hard to put a finger on any one definitive reason, but I think I may have found my first "forever 'Mech" Posted Image

Don't nerf it, PGI. Pretty plz,

Holy Nerfed Crit Space you mean. The fixed Structure slots are not in the copius side torsos or arms, they are in the much needed Legs, Head, and CT, although CT not so important. Heatsinks in Legs means Cooling bonus in water. Ammo storage in Head and Legs is much safer than in ST's or Arms.

Running my NC-Prime I had to dump the third ER Large because not enough heatsinks with DHS 1.5 on the 15 extra heatsinks. Not a surprise, BattleTech's stock energy boats are not supported by MWO.

The pulse build is good. You are just unlucky enough to get dropped in Polar with it.

Going with NC-Prime stock, 2xERPPC, 2xLPL. 915 meter ERPPCs gives good hitting at max ranges.

Yeah I will give it another go when I'm less tired/drunk.

Whats the reason for way better agility than a Night Gyr? It's just 5t less.

All the better for fitting bulky stuff, versus the ubercramped Night Gyr.

It may be easier to build and pilot, but not stronger unless something magical happened this patch.

Because the Night Gyr has better build capabilities.

Once pgi figures out that people will make great laser vomits out of it, i fully expect it to get nerfed to semi-truck agility too.

That depends on whether it is actually better than an Ebjag with laser vomit or a Night Gyr with gauss vomit. I mean the Nova Cat with pulse has better DPS but also worse range AND speed than the Ebjag so I'm not so sure how useful that is and Night Gyr has better sustained and JJs.

I was staggered at how big the offensive quirks are on several builds

Yeah rather enjoyable to build with. Quite idiot proof build wise really.

5x ERLarge, don't alpha tho, Comp 3, LAMS. Heats up fast, but cools off decently.

I doubt they would nerf the agility as it now have left and right movement on the arms and just about all configurations have all the weapons being arm mounted.

Been loving 5 MPlas, 2 LPLas, 26 DHS, and a TC1, personally. You gotta soak up that tonnage, somehow. Runs pretty cold, and obliterates things it lightly caresses.

I also have an ATM 42 + 2x HML configuration of the B. Up to 146 alpha potential on a 70 ton platform is all kinds of stupid.
