Your best bet for some decent dropdecks would be:
Laser Vomit:
3x Hellbie/Shadow Cat
2x Hellbie/2x Hunchie IIC-A
Note: Hellbies can be replaced with Ebon Jags (or even laservomit linebackers if you really like them), Hunchies can be replaced with huntsmans
Gauss Vomit:
3x Gauss vomit Hellbies or Ebon Jags/Lasvom Shadow Cat
2x Hellbies or jags/2x Lasvom Hunchies or Huntsman
MCII-Deathstrike/MCII-1/2x Arctic Cheetah
Long range sniping:
3x ERLL Hellbie/ERLL Shadow Cat
ERLL SNV-1/ERLL Hellbie/ERLL Hunchie IIC-A/ERLL Shadow Cat (use this on boreal vault defense if you really want to try it).
Dakka:
2x Marauder IIC-A/2x Arctic cheetah (can replace the MAD-IIC with a MCII-B )
SRM/brawling:
3x SRM Linebackers/Arctic cheetah
2x SRM-LBX20 Orion IIC-A/Srm Huntsman/Arctic Cheetah (Can replace the cheetah with an Arctic Wolf)
SRM/LBX20 Mad Cat MKII-2/Brawler Mad IIC Scorch/2x Cheetah

1.TBR & NGR not dead, but have little application
NGT-C Used as an alternative to HBR-VI on long ramge maps
TBR-S It is used in attack, where it is necessary to overcome obstacles (grim portico, taiga)
2.with such suggestions for configs, I'm not surprised that the clan PUGs and most of the units are all so sad
Do not bring the ACH, SHC, MLX on the battlefield. this useless mechs (and even more in a double copy)

Also i don't know much about what the remaining wolf loyalist units are using but one thing is sure: those two mechs aren't among the best picks for the majority of the good players anymore. :U

Also, try asking some of the really good players (I.E. Juju Shinobi, proton, denAir) about the viability of the timby (the gyr is highly situational at best) and you'll get the pretty much the same response as mine...

Quoted for truth
The dual assault/light deck is good only if you're actually experienced and can pull off some good damage/kills with a frontloaded deck, a full complement of heavies with a single light or medium would be the best choice for most.

TBW are one of the best clan heavy mech (especially for close range dueling). He is not taken to FP because Orion2c has more armor, and mobility is not particularly important there (In most cases) or people try to save some mass.

The orion IIC is indeed a valid brawler but it still gets trumped on by the linebacker for various reasons (first among them it's 65t weight being the sweet spot for a clan deck).

Please do not imply i didn't test both mechs post nerfs, the agility is terrible on both and almost everyone agrees on the timby being overly nerfed with the needless nega quirks.

but only they and MDD can stop the push of the IS Assaults. in contrast to LBK. And if we are talking about LBK and optimization of the deck, it's better to have 4xMDD 6xACRM + 5Flamers
And in general, let them take what they want, if only not for the LRM/ATM/SSRM and the heap of squalid ACH/MLX/SHC

The MDD isn't as good as it used to be (agility nerfs IIRC) but they're still pretty viable. The linebacker is just so much faster, agile and tanky tho...

Under the FP, I mean the Shige mode, not the maps from QP

You can use anything in Scouting. We often go there on the MLX. But they are absolutely not suitable for the Shige mode (do not forget about the difference in 10t)
As for the SHC, its role is a long range troll, which can be present in 1 or 2 copies at a time, rather than a herd.
Tired of watching MLX/ACH crowds killed by Omega turrets.

A good drop would usually see the winning team on their 2nd to 3rd mechs. That shadow cat is more of a last resort mech. :U
