Aka you made us **** you because your clothes are too sexy. Nice rationale there for cheating.

Who's cheating? What? You think people are cheating because they have the same tags?

I love versing teammates, there's less likelihood of people ruining the match running LRMs, sitting back and not sharing their armour.

Welcome to sync drop scumming.

It's not very common, but it's an occasional problem. Every time I see 4+ identical tags in a QP match I groan.

EDIT: In other words, sync dropping is depressingly common, but actually being poor sports about it and sharing intel is not as common.

the smaller the population is, the higher are synch drop chances.

so.. if they fix population issues then we'll be able to actually group drop. although missing shooting unit mates is going to sting a bit but not as much as the damn penalties...

I would love for 2 man teams solos to be able to drop in the QP group queues though.

Not only on QP, but scummy stuff like stream sniping is common in FP matches. When MS was fighting for IS, almost every big unit on the Clan side had sniped our unit leader/members' stream and learned of our positioning and proposed tactics. Which was real ****** thing to do. Our leader had 5 minute delay on his stream but that didn't matter in a 25 minute FP game.

If someone can actually do that effectively, I say kudos to them for their intelligence gathering chops. Posted Image

As long as it is not done during MWOWC matches, of course.

Anyone else remember when QP used to allow 8 man teams to drop vs pugs, and then PGI implemented a group queue and limited QP to 4 man teams?

Plenty of units were sync dropping in QP to bypass the 4 man team limit instead of using the group queue. Because you know, "playing to win" means bypassing the matchmaker to club seals.

As one of those so-called "seals", I really enjoyed it when my team was able to give those folks a bloody nose.

You guys sure love whinging. The reason sync dropping is so common is because the community is too small. We do it a lot in oceanic because during our prime time there's only about 100 people playing. You split that amount up into solo, group, scouting and faction you will find the only way to get a drop is to go solo. Unless you have a 12 man, but then the other team whines about versing a 12 man. Unless oceanic actually organises drop nights we can't play group. Were not actually silent on this matter either, shoutout to live for setting up the oceanic discord, but until PGI can boost the numbers this will go on. So rather than whinging, how about you convince your mates to get into the game, boost the playing numbers and maybe you will see a reduction in sync dropping.

It's not so much about sync dropping, at least from my end, but what people do when they sync drop on opposite sides of the match. If they are feeding information to their friends on the other team, well that's not exactly a good thing.

If you are syncing just because you don't want to get your arse handed to you and a couple of friends in group play, then I can live with that. I just don't like hearing that people are doing it and feeding info to the other side.
