6xCUAC2 NGyr is very very unreliable. Some days your double-tap goes off without a hitch, but more often than not, all those ACs will become jammed after 3 double-taps. I stopped using mine in general.

The hell, mate. 2x IS LL/ERLL is nothing, even with reduced burn. BIG ALPHA is what is ruling the las-vomit world, and you want IS to suck even more at it?

The key with the Gyr is don't double tap. Like every 5 or six cycles just double-tap one time. It gets you to about 23 or 25 DPS with few if any jams. You rock the double-tap and you'll spend half the time mostly jammed.

Also seems to jam less if you fire it 3+3.

Which is why I run 3xCUAC2 + 3xCAC2 Jade Kite. CAC2s run cooler, and I can DT all I want without worrying about losing all of my firepower.

There seems to be some sort of coding mess that makes jams more frequent the less your UACs are in sync when firing. Could be just general feeling.

Yeah, I've come to the same conclusion over the years. I don't know if it's a placebo effect or real, but UACs seem to work better in smaller groups.

I do timed runs on Caustic. You don't double tap save periodically and never back to back. If I run the UACs all double tap you are doing less total damage. I can say that over 5 runs every one of them took longer with constant doubletaps vs periodic doubletaps. Without question it's much, much better to not double tap back to back.

You can double tap all the time, just make sure you do it right after the blip turns back from red.
