I have been having issues with the 'recycle' noise for the Heavy PPC not syncing with the -actual- recycle time. Mildly frustrating when I hear the noise and click to fire and get nothing. Not sure if it is isolated to just me, no idea how to troubleshoot (reinstall?).
Anyone else notice this?

Ive been noticing that the firing/reloading noises seem to stop/restart at odd intervals if the weapon is fired close to its relaod timer. Even the reload times themselves seem to be a bit off per weapon. Example would be my dakka wolf stutterfiring lb2xac's in a manner that my firegroups arent set up because the individual weapons arent reloading at the same time. So instead of all at once, i get 8, then 8, then 7 followed by 1, then 5 with 3 shortly thereafter. And the sounds stop altogether after the second shot.

i have noticed that some weapons recycle sounds actually take longer then the actual reload and that if i fire two in close succion that the sound from the second and or first one will over ride the other the one weapon ive noticed a a recycle sound thats longer then the actual cycle time for the weapon (and its probablly my favorite sound in the game) is the reqular IS ac 10 which has a sorta woosh ping sound after the weapon is already reloaded which i imagine is the mechansim blowing out the hot gasses from the spent cartridge then ejecting the cartridge but yeah ive been hearing some weirdness in the weapon recycle sounds as well just wanted to point out that what you might be hearing is the sound still finishing from the first of the three shots with the third shot being the shot you tried to get off when you heard the sound end but the cycle time wasnt done yet

Huh, i always kinda thought it was a hardware glitch on my end, or at least a problem very few had. It's rather annoying when the sound cuts out entirely as it can be a bit disorienting when it comes back. That and never quite knowing when your weapons are actually reloaded unless you know them darn well or can figure out that weird recycle indicator next to the reticle. Thanks for the input, glad to know im not alone in this lol!

It's because they nerfed the cooldown of the Heavy PPC from 4.5 to 5 seconds, so the sound no longer matches up.
