Do Is Have Any 45 Ton Or Below Mechs Which Even Come Close To This?

If so, I'd sure like to know about it, because I don't see it.

Edit: stop staring into laser death beams, give him your arms and charge him.
Edit:edit: Or an assassin, would probably be better than oxide.

IS doesn't have heavy lasers, so you'd have to accept either a standard LL or a LPL instead, but you can exceed the cooling efficiency and speed with standard (not ER) MLs. Alternately, you can match the same speed, and take 3 LL and 3 ML with basically the same cooling efficiency (though without trying it out it sounds hot for a 1X).

The arctic wolf P is way better with just 6 cerml. Put a prime left torso in for jump jets.

Its called the assassin with 4x torso mounted SRMs that can tank far more damage than the artic wolf and can use his arms to shield the torsos.

You really need to compensate small alpha ?
*sigh*

Well given a lack of heavy lasers for IS... that's a no at any tonnage.
However...if by terms of sustained dps... then yes.

Not quite the build I would take BUT I Love Arctic Wolves. Bought them all and have never regretted it.

Fixed, much better build: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...ec99717f7aad767
Also, the TC1 is a waste of tonnage. It improves your crit damage by 0.21%. (and I think a menial range increase that amounts to basically nothing)
With crit damage, using your older inefficient build:
+TC1:
70.09 alpha
9.60 burst DPS
3.55 sustained DPS
+DHS:
69.95 alpha (0.19% worse)
9.58 burst DPS (0.19% worse)
3.73 sustained DPS (4.97% better)
The DHS gives you +10.6 damage per minute compared to the TC1. You never mount a TC1 when you have enough slots for a DHS instead.

Actually, that build can fire almost exactly three times per minute.
Think about it this way: every second that your heat gauge is resting at the bottom is time wasted that you could have been dealing damage to the enemy. If your build runs so hot that throughout the ENTIRE MATCH you never reach the bottom of your heat gauge, then you're effectively applying your DPS to the enemy from beginning to end, which is a good thing.
But then the key of course is to balance the loadout between maximum DPS, and not wasting any of that DPS such that you never reach the bottom of your heat gauge during a match, but you *almost* do. When you've achieved that... you have a good build.
That said, his build is probably too hot. My version can fire 4.4 times per minute. =3

It was just a guess, but 3/minute is still pretty terrible.
It's got the front-end firepower of a line heavy, but not the survivability or heat sustainability. The pilot of this mech probably gets lucky 20% of the time and does outsized damage, but otherwise gets wrecked by ankle-biters and true heavies and assaults.
