Army, 28 years. Enlisted infantry/11B -> OCS -> Military Intelligence Officer/35D. [Hence the name Mustang11b35d. Mustang is military slang for an enlisted person who becomes an officer. Used mostly in the Navy and Marine Corps, but recognized in the Army.] Served pretty much everywhere, retired out of Fort Bragg. Played MW 2, 3, & 4, tabletop battletech, and the short-lived card game. I still carry around a massive box of cards.Oh yeah, paratrooper, 3 tours - Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

68W, was in 3rd ID from 2012 to 2015, got out after my four years. My parents didn't want me doing infantry, thankfully I got assigned to an infantry battalion, fought for a line medic position, and was a platoon medic for two years, got to go to Afgahistan for nine months too. Made lifelong friends in the Army, miss those guys. Got shot at a few times, had a truck get blown up, was tons of fun.

USAF Moody AFB, Don't know it? My other duty station would be even more obscure.

US Army 15B/15T Deployed to Camp Taji, Iraq out of Ft Hood, TX. Deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan out of Ft. Campbell, KY.

I play with veterans in a few other games, namely War Thunder in a squadron called DD-214 haha, best part is that only veterans recognize what the heck that is!

Haven't played with a lot of guys from the service here or just don't know. Manly I play solo.

I'm interested in this too. When does one count as veteran?

USAF mobile missile warning unit (deployed). Spent all but 6 months of my last 4 1/2 years continuously deployed. And that was not 6 months off in a row. Sent all over the world. Some of them were not nice places. Most were just mind numbingly boring. Didn't really have a "duty station" at that time, but our "host base" was Holloman AFB, NM. We were technically assigned to Peterson AFB, but I think I only saw that base twice.

Hard to believe I've been out for 29 years...

No offence to some of you folks but I was the one on the opposing force with a balaclava or keffiyeh. I imagine I am in a couple of journalists' photo archives. Posted Image
