So it's an over-engined Medium with MASC? I doubt it'll be worth spending real money on. Maybe it'll be tiny for it's weight class (like how the Nova is an itty bitty medium) and/or have some quirks to make up for the fact that it's gonna have almost nothing for firepower.

Having seen the art for it, it looks WAY cooler than the horrible Sarna art, but it's still kind of clunky looking.

As I've said elsewhere, it's not as ugly as I thought it would be, but that's somehow a bad thing. At least the original was hideous in an interesting way. This is just kind of... there.

Well, this will be able to close at the speed of the light and then use short range weapons, so... different playstyle?

Stormcrow is great at 71 dmg alpha laser vomit which this can't do. I'm cautiously optimistic here. Its only 11t of podspace i think.

If I am calculating it right at first glance anyway, it looks like about 12 tons of pod space which is pretty bad.

By my count, it can swap hardpoints to get up to 14 weapon mounts. I'm not sure how that can be called "almost nothing for firepower".

Is it just me, or is this a Clan Men Shen, only better?

EDIT: Actually, nevermind. The Men Shen has extra tonnage that kind of makes up for the speed and superior hardpoints.

That depends how you look at it.

The basic pack for example has really bad hard point options, almost unplayable I would say which means if you want the mech to be decent, you will need to invest in the reinforcement pack which will only give you a few extra pods in order to try to build out 5 mechs with.

The other thing is no matter how many pods you have, you only have 12-13 tons to work with so that is really limiting on the firepower.

It is fast though, really fricken fast for a 55 ton mech.
