[Wolfways]

The forums are full of Clan mechs are op, matches are dominated by long range laser spam, etc...

Where are these matches? Is it FW (which I've tried but apparently noone plays so I have to wait all night for a match), or private matches, or is it in T1 (hope not. I suddenly can't stop my tier bar from rising )?

Switch to IS side and see for your self. You will be able to drop in FP, at least.

Clan mechs are better at high alpha laser vomit which is common in comp play/FP. Due to the nature of QP, its not as effective. My IS mechs easily stomp any clan mech of equal tonnage or lower in QP.

Also since several clan units all switchd to IS at the same time, IS has either won or tied most of the FP cycles lately from what ive seen.

Played about 100 faction matches with a pair of Annihilators, lost 1. Yeah clans are op nerf clans.

I'm ranked higher in Rasalhauge than in Smoke Jaguar. I was kinda shocked to hear that while I was gone (diskappeared just before the Kodiak came out, came back at the end of September) that the IS had quit dominating FW.

It has nothing to do with ZOMG CLAN TECKZ OP PLZ NERF either. The IS can still dominate Siege matches. The difference from what I've seen playing on the Clan side now is a) Clan gets a lot of ghost drops which moves the bar, and the addition of a ton of non-Siege maps that make the IS tankiness less useful vs. the Clan's ability to turn their mechs into hardpoint mutts.

Of course, the IS is still dominating scouting because freakin' Bushwacker's, and more Bushwackers, and oh ya, Bushwackers. And while I haz sneaky thotz on how to beat Bushwackers in Scouting, they kinda need 55 tons back for Clan scout decks...and oh ya, the Black Lanner which means the IS should keep dominating until February and maybe even longer if PGI doesn't give the 5 tons back.

HAHAHAHA! A 228 guy saying IS fine after piloting Annis. When you are in 228, you can win on both sides cause teamwork is OP. You simply do not represent the average FPer, mate.

It's pretty much entirely in high-end organized play -- FP or Comp Play.

In the vast potato fields of QP, you can do pretty much whatever and be alright as long as you know how to play. Not only do I get away with running a 2xRAC-5 Bushwacker, I frequently top the team with it.

A few days ago I looked at FP cycles and the bar was most of the way to the right or tied, for every cycle. Its possible that some clan groups showed up before those cycles ended to move the bars to the left enough for it to count as a tie i guess, since its not as if i was watching the bar for the entire cycle.

The first hew hours of the EU cycle today had the bar moving to the right, but it stabilised in the middle by the time i logged off.

Lot of players, even if part of unit, drop mostly solo or small group, not full 12 man these days.
