As much as i want the mechs's models to be built exactly like the concept art, that wont be possible until Mech 5 where people will try and recreate the concept art to exactly how it is.
I think it's crucial that these Mechs get model tuning.

Panther - feet/shoulders are too big.
Dragon - Skinnier and slightly taller.
Cougar - Legs are too long, need to be shorter.
Centurion - is too wide and tall, needs to be skinnier and shorter
Uziel - legs are too long, they need to be shorter. (Animations need editing)
Adder- Legs are too long, need to be shorter.
Kit Fox - Legs are too long, need to be shorter.
Firestarter - needs to be slightly shorter and slightly skinnier
Vindicator - needs torso to be more pulled in and the mech needs to be shorter
Trebuchet - Shorter!!!!
Enforcer -Arms need to be slightly skinnier/longer and torso needs to be more compact. Space between the legs needs to be slightly smaller.
QuickDraw - Skinnier
Atlas - Torso needs to be skinnier and the shoulders also.
Zeus - needs to be just a tad bit shorter
Awesome - the Gun needs to be single like before and legs much longer with smaller space between legs
Nightstar - (Animations need editing)
Nova cat -(Animations need editing)
King Crab - smaller and slightly skinnier
Annihilator - too bulky

Mechs that need new weapon models added

Centurion
Griffin (arm doesn't show 3 ppcs but a laser in one place)
Locust (Snub Nose PPC is a laser)
Jagermech
Dragon
Victor (2 light gauss and few others dont show up as 2

Eh, the only modeling issue I have is the Uziels legs being bowed in. Animation passes on those three would be super nice though. Overall I am very happy with modeling.

I'd also love it to squat a little more.

Slightly less wide arms on Zeus would be cool as well.

I'd rather they downsize all the mechs that are unreasonably big. Which is pretty much every mech not named Catapult, Locust, or Commando.

(Seriously, my damn Jenner IIC is bigger than my Catapult. What. The. Hell.)

Mechs that need Resizing: All of the lights that got blown up like a balloon during the rescale. No sense in locust and commando being so small compared to 30 and 35 ton mechs.
Then some other mechs.

Osiris is too tall and wide too is another example.

Uziel has terrible animations. It should be slug very low for what it is.

Madcat Mk2 is also far too tall, animated poorly. A bit smaller(less wide) would be nice.

Related: The Catapult needs it's door shadows to be fixed. Super old problem, still super annoying.

What I notice also is that for most, if not all, mechs when they walk, their hips don't yaw (for a lack of a better term) when the walk but instead tilt or see saw instead. I think it would make better walk animations of the hips yaw rather than tilt.

[edit]
Now that I think about it, I think the Atlas' hips do yaw. But chicken walkers like the KGC and NST tilt instead.

I only think the commando's lasers need to be put under and around the arms instead of being these boxes.

Short answer, everything. Long answer, mechs in this game are too large. Mech scaling in BT, while varying to an extent, no mech was taller than 2 stories. Meanwhile, in MWO, we have towering Godzillas with feet bigger than cars, and thats just for our 35 tonners. Mechs have to shrink down, which conveniently would push the game more towards brawling since you would have to get closer to accurately hit an enemy.

Just change Nightstar, Nova Cat and Grasshopper animations. That will be enough for me.

NIghtstar, Nova Cat, and Uziel need better walking animations

Nightstar looks like a waddling duck, Nova cat has one joint too many and it's step is too short. Uziel has one joint too little.

Atlas needs a fix for walking animation, because it looks like it's rubberbanding a bit while walking.

MadCat II needs to fix the leg clipping into the arms. Also, needs to be shorter set on it's legs.

DireWolf needs a slower, longer/wider step, to make it less tippy-toey.

Executioner and Gargoyle need no-stub arms. or at least stubs as long as the mounted lasers, and not like it is now, that lasers protrude around the stubs.

All the mechs with bay doors need the checkbox option to remove the bay doors (like removing hand actuators). Archer and Catapult the most.

And that helps bring the overall size of the mech down. Shrink the feet and shoulders and the mech gets taller.

Dragon - Skinnier and slightly taller.

No. The Dragon is actually at a nice place right now.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Cougar - Legs are too long, need to be shorter.

Lol, no. It just needs some more bend on its reverse joints.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Centurion - is too wide and tall, needs to be skinnier and shorter

Not really. Its hieght lets it get a lot of its hardpoints over lower cover, and its current size lets it hide behind its shield arm. Only way to make it "shorter" would to fatten it front to back, which would make its shield useless.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Uziel - legs are too long, they need to be shorter. (Animations need editing)

There are so many things wrong with the Uziel model, but the legs aren't it. For starters, it needs to be a bit fatter front to back. Secondly, it needs bigger arms. Thirdly, it needs its shoulders shrunk a little. Finally, they need to fix the walking animation and position it sits at so it acutally uses its double joints instead of only one of its leg joints (because they just copypasta'd the MCII animations to the Uziel).

Adder- Legs are too long, need to be shorter.

Same as cougar, they just need to bend more at the joints. The physical size is fine.

Kit Fox - Legs are too long, need to be shorter.

Same as Adder/Cougar.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Firestarter - needs to be slightly shorter and slightly skinnier

I pilot a Firestarter, its just fine. Maybe it could use some fattening of its legs a bit, which would make it shorter because of their "volumetric scaling".

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Vindicator - needs torso to be more pulled in and the mech needs to be shorter

Those things are mutually exclusive from eachother. Actually, the Vindi is size pretty well right now. Almost have enough to buy one, and I'm debating between whether to get the Vindi 1X, a Shadow Hawk, or keep grinding for a HIghlander IIC-C.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Trebuchet - Shorter!!!!

Possibly, but it really isn't its height that is the problem.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Enforcer -Arms need to be slightly skinnier/longer and torso needs to be more compact. Space between the legs needs to be slightly smaller.

Again, these changes are mutually exclusive from one another because of PGI's scaling metrics. I actually own an Enforcer 4R, and it is fine and smexy. It doesn't need size changes.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

QuickDraw - Skinnier

No, its size is quite nice currently. And you really have to explain "skinner" because there are 2 different axis of importance that "skinner" could define.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Atlas - Torso needs to be skinnier and the shoulders also.

Not the size problems the Atlas has. First off, it needs to be longer front to back by 25% to 50%. Secondly, its arms need to be a bit bulkier.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Zeus - needs to be just a tad bit shorter

Lol, again its not height that is the problem. Zeus is as wide as a barn and needs some work to reduce that somewhat. Its actual height is just fine.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Awesome - the Gun needs to be single like before and legs much longer with smaller space between legs

Again, not the problems the Awesome has. It needs to be lengthened front to back (especially the CT), then have its width (side to side) brought in.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Nightstar - (Animations need editing)

Not the problem the Nightstar has. It needs its lines from the side cleared up a bit, because from the side it just looks fugly,

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Nova cat -(Animations need editing)

Quite supprising to me, Nova Cat was actually pretty 'just fine' on release, even the animations.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

King Crab - smaller and slightly skinnier

No.

View PostArmored Yokai, on 30 October 2017 - 02:45 PM, said:

Annihilator - too bulky

As its supposed to be.

This is a very bad list of mechs, you cover mechs that don't need resizes, diagnose mechs in need of changes with wrong changes, and don't mention the mechs that need changes the most. No mention of the Highlander, the brick with legs? No mention of the Black Knight, the mech most in need of a model makeover? No mention of the Grasshopper, the spindly stick mech? No mention of the Cataphract, the lumpy hunk of metal? No mention of the Ice Ferret, the walking fridge? Come on man.

Best way to fix it would be to make it longer front to back, and angle its STs a bit more.
