I've noticed that MWO reliably crashes to desktop with a fatal error (D3D) when using AMD radeon drivers version 17.11.1 (at least on my RX 480.)

Using version 17.10.1 or below works fine though.

I have upgraded to 17.11.2 and it seems to work better in DX11 mode. If you are crashing to the desktop you may have to go back to DX9 mode for the time being.

I've tried that, crashes in both DX9 and DX11 when using 17.11.x.

Have had a few who did the following for their D3D reset driver issue.

Reinstall directx 9c version 9.29.1974 (June 2010) last update for directx 9c redistribution file.

Download, unpack then run the dxsetup.exe to reinstall dx9c.

I'm running 17.4.4 on my RX 570 and it works.

New drivers made my game crash.
