Forum search engine is completely broken as has been for as long as I can remember.
Type site:www.mwomercs.com in google and then follow it with your search terms if you want to find something.

Then even when it did work, it would show the OLDEST threads first. And poor mod have to go and lock it up....

It's broken and I don't think PGI cares to fix it as it makes it more difficult to refer back to old posts which are generally more embarrassing for them than us.

I have asked PGI to fix this before, and it happened once. After that, it broke again, and no one has bothered with it.
Just go do a report on Tina's Page, saying search engine on forums is broken. They'll get around to fixing it soon enough, as messaging is usually ignored for the most part.

Search function on these forums has never worked well in the five years I've been here. I'd imagine it never will. If they cared, they would have done something about it years ago,

Sad, really, when you'd THINK they would want new people coming here, and you know, using search? Not to mention us who are already here.......
Like mentioned above, use google..... I would do 'MWO LRM' or say 'MWO LRM guide' , no quotes of course.
MWO Conquest mode guide
etc and so on. I get good results using MWO .....
