Its a joke thread. Read the OP (not just the title) carefully. You’ll get it.

Actually joke is not the right word. It is a sarcastic critique/comment of the complaining many of us do regarding balance, nerfs and the state of the game. I thought it was pretty funny.

I'm an antisocial basement dwelling neckbeard and I play online multiplayer team v team games to.... get away.... from having to deal with, err, people.

People who talk to other people or who use teamwork to help their teams are just like cheaters and should be nerfed and banned.

Also I want a slice of the MWOWC payout because this one time in this one game I did really well, which is just as hard. I'm special and a winner. My mom tells me so every morning when she brings me my Eggo Waffles and chicken tendies.

My gtx 660 needs a nerf. That great card still cranks out a solid 40fps which is just good enough to pilot my favorite light mechs. It's not even a higher grade ti or whatever just 660. for a pc made in 2012 it still impresses me that I can play a lot of recent games with 30-60 fps.

my mouse needs a nerf too. One of those wireless logitech ones for around 15. Two buttons and scroll wheel so op. I won't even start on my generic keyboard I got from good will for six bucks.

I feel like locking this is just going to prove that PGI doesnt care about weapons being able to disable other mechs in game if the victim (read: VICTIM) fails to react and/or adapt to the current in game situation in a manner that best reflects the abilities of his or her mech at the time. Why even play if thats how its going to be?

Catapults are overperforming with new tech, they need either a reduction in defensive quirks or offensive. I'm surprised no one brought this up on Catapult Day.

Catapault ears are too small. Too hard to hit. Make them bigger. Perhaps put some missile tubs on the outside for balance.

Also the only damage should be collision damage and we can ram each other to death. Then all will be balanced!

Balance made simple. Every 'mech moves at the same speed, has the same armor, the same hitboxes, the same hardpoints, and all weapons but small lasers are removed from the game. Done. Enjoy your battletech.

That sounds a lot like call of duty, but it's small lasers, Clan UAC 5s and LBX 10s. You only get one.

You forgot the part where all the weapons auto-aim. That's important. It isn't fair to steering-wheel users otherwise.

You're right I am such a clan mech lover that I own tons of IS mechs just to be hip and desperately care about how my pretend robots in my online arena shooter perform. Sometimes I pilot only IS mechs for days at a time so that when I finally switch over to Clan mechs its like having super powers, they are so amazing!

I know my match scores stay roughly the same regardless of the mechs but obviously it much be a server glitch because it cant be individual pilot performance.
