PGI artists, you out did yourselves on the GRF-5M(L) skin. It's beautiful!

It's one of the best skins in the game!

Favorite loyalty skin since the Year 1 CN9-AH. It's frikkin' byooteeful. I might main this thing for a while just because of the skin.

Think I will have a Rum once I get home and just spin it around for a while. It does look really good, don't think I have anything to compare it to. Want to say my purple Huggin but not sure.

My $0.02 on the skins...

1st place: GRF-5M
2nd: VTR-9A1
3rd: KFX-G
4th: UM-R68
5th: LBK-H

I'd put the LBK in third, but you really need to change the colors out before it pops. Same with the Urbie skin- it just looks like a generic mottle until you jazz it up with a little color and realize there's some cool art hiding in the camo. The GRF, VTR, and KFX I'll happily drop in without changing a single detail because they're just that cool looking stock.

AGREED. The new skins are good. The previous oil slick and prior bee compound eye skins were, lets say. Sub par. These match at least the efforts of the first loyalty skins.

Huh. And I think it looks just terrible. Absolutely awful.

The only one of the new ones I like at all is the Victor. Which I do like quite a bit.

I like all the skins on the loyalty mechs, only messed with the colors on the Victor, Line backer and Griffin so far.

The details are too many and too small, they are messy. The shoulder stickers dont belong there. Their static, flat colour scheme standout and is unrelated to the messiness that is the body. No, i dont like it. Ive liked mostly all heroes and (S) paint so far with some exception, both dragons the LK and wolverine hero are the one i dont like. The 5M makes for a nice mural paint but thats not what i want on a mech. I see no customisation value in those mech, oh look my 5M is a messy pink, look mine is blur of blue! yuk. If at least it didnt have the shoulder pad i wouldnt have to paint the body lite pink to try and make it fit with the stickers.

All previous (L) were huge winners for me. Id buy the coin 3d effect on my other mech or the last year paint that could be made with any colours for completely different effect. The angel with the cord/binding was a winner too but i understand its hard to make it on small mech, still a winner.

This year is just weird. Look at the urbie, the cracked rock is great but wtf is that on its face? That face sticker would be cool on its own if all the mech was painted with it but instead we have some mixed abomination that cant be turned into anything nice.

This year they have a drawing all over tyheir body not a pattern. You cant really personalize a drawing. you wont see people posting pictures of how great they made their 5M or Urbie look because they will all be a messy blur of lines. They look how they look and theres nothing else you can do about it.
