With the mashing of high tier players in with the lower tier players it has gotten to the point with Mechwarrior Online where the lower tier players are getting slammed and taken out far too quickly. At that point the game is no longer fun to play. When things are not fun why waste your precious real life time on it let alone your hard earned income that is needed to survive IRL? You play a game for entertainment and to take a break from the stresses of reality, i.e., fun. No fun no play. So there have to be incentives to get everyone to consider it worth their time and keep playing. Not to have a grind but to keep playing for the entertainment.

Now with that said I admit I am the worst mechwarrior in the universe. It took some grinding but I did finish the Rubellite Oasis challenge and the first three daily challenges prior to reading this thread and posting. I am trying to make it all the way through. We will see how that plays out.

Thank you PGI for a new map, new challenges and rewards. The notices for events are getting better, but still have a ways to go. Being able to plan 30 days in advance really is the expectation I have for games, events and real life stuff. I have seen some of the critics complaining that the daily challenges are too difficult. I disagree. Given the mixing of tiers, the options for servers and other factors seem to be as balanced as can be. I look forward to day 6 and hopefully a Black Friday/Cyber-Monday announcement (hopefully later today) soon.

I've been pleased with the daily challenges for this event and have even had time to hop on my sons' account to help get them get some much needed c-bills, which has encouraged them to play more.

I *really* hope this is the start of regular daily challenges like other games feature. MWO needs these sort of challenges to draw people in, even if only for a few matches per day.

Hi... The 6 Days Challenges are over, but there wasn't any TSP injection... I did all 6 Challenges.

...because PGI currently has no mechanism in the background to just deal with it for them. Sorry about that. Hope that PGI gets their act together and deals with it soon!

Not me. I did get the bonus injection from the BF MC sale. So something is off.

Yeah I'm wondering when my TSP bonuses for the November challenges are arriving. I'm holding out that they'll all be injected with the Thanatos/Rubellite ones since all of them were announced at the same time

Different mechanisms. TSP bonus content has to be injected manually, that is, the event system doesn't know about this, so a staff member has to do it using some database magic.
The store knows about the bonus content for the MC sale, so this is injected every hour to the hour automatically with no further work for a staff member after the sale has been configured.

They should have implemented an automated system by now... Alas...
