The rule of three is no longer in the game, why not allow people to buy a single variant for $2-$10 instead of demanding $10-$40 drops for variants people likely don't even want? Especially when even to buy the specific variants for cash in-game these people have to wait over half a year just to have access to them.

To be honest, I have never bought a mech pack. They are just to expensive for me. I have, however, bought the cheapest, 6$ MC pack on several occasions.

If I could buy a single mech variant at less than 10$, buying mechs would be much more affordable for me.. and I would be more likely to buy some..

they could always have a price-decrease; the more you buy, the cheaper, but being able to start at 1 would be a big bonus for many (hero-option for anybody with 3+)
and you can use the same numbers for the 'goodies' you get.

example:
1 for 10, 2 for 15, 3 for 20 (see..?), 4 for 25, 5 for 30 etc.

I'd really like to get my hands on a black lanner though I think it's gonna be meh. having to buy 3 of those? not so much.
I'd also gotten a thana, but 3...? no. so I'll buy the one I want with cbills in #whenever.
20 more bucks they could have made of me, easily.

A price decrease with multiple purchases is likely, but the starting price for 1 is unlikely to be less than $10 and the cost of 3 will be closer to $30 than $20, more like $25 for 3, with a cap at 3 or 4 'mechs A La Carte. Maybe as much at $15 per 'mech, based on previous Al La Carte options. The main issue in guessing the price is the (S) variant, which was standard for A La Carte purchases but likely wouldn't be any more.

They have never given the bonuses (like PT, cockpit items, camo or colours) for Al La Care purchases before, it's unlikely they would start now.

Well I just wrote a whole post and lost it with an accidental back button. So to summarize.

1. Customization would be a good money earner.

2. Supply crates should be directly purchasable for both MC and C-Bills, no keys required.

3. Get rid of the pay walls to certain content, it's unnecessary and just prevents people from enjoying all the content.

4. Hero status should be applicable to all mechs, allowing people to invest into the variants they like with bonuses rather than having to choose between playing the one they like or the one they get more rewards with.

Or reduce the price for older mechs over time, especially ones that don't sell much. LoL did this with old champions that weren't popular. Reducing their price from 900+ RP to 450 or 240, etc.

If people can get the backlog of mehcs for bargain prices after a while they'll also be more inclined to spend money. As it stands now, I rarely spend money on this game. In fact the most money I have spent on it was when I was a founder and I still feel like I barely got anything out of being a founder despite dumping hundreds into this game to be one.

Yeah, I would love to have Invasion Mad Dog Prime but not for 240 dollars lol.

And here I am looking at the new pre-order and realizing I still don't have the mech yet that I pre-ordered last. It's making it so very hard to pre-order knowing that I still have to wait 6 more days before I even see a result from my last one and this one will be another, long three month wait.

So much can change in a game over three months time. It's really just unreasonable to expect people to wait so long.

I have only ever bought the standard mech pack for the cougar and even then i only ever used one of them since its a clan mech i can just swap the pods on to suit my needs. If i temember right it was like $15. I dont remember.

Either way i bought it, then waited 2 months for it to be available for me and THEN 6 months before i had all of the normal variant omni parts available because 2 variants werent included in the standard package.

This did 2 things, it gimped my cougar because the side torsi of the E variant and the head of the H variant are super important to a solid laser vomit on the cougar; it also made it feel a bit more special because i had a thing other people didnt have because they didnt pay for it.

This isnt in my opinion pay to win, yes it favors the purchaser because sometimes when they make a mech they strike gold but we dont really know this until we're either sucking wind or easily 12-0ing with no damage done to us.

Tl;dr;this person is crazy: i think purchasing digital content shouldnt have a massive wait on it since they are essentially using it as the initial beta test before they release it to the masses, but i think the wait between when the buyers get it and when its avail for c-bills is fine.

I think a pack is ok, but I see no reason why they couldn't give players the ability to pick which 3 variants they want, instead of dividing some off as reinforcements. Basically they could offer the same model they have now, just that with purchase of the pack you pick which 3 variants you want. You would still have the option to add more (like the reinforcements option), but you control which variants. Maybe even give a discount on the hero mech based on the total number of variants purchased. They could still offer the ultimate pack for players that want everything, but give a little more freedom to players interested in just a few variants.

I see no problem with players having to wait longer for the MC and c-bill release of new mechs, but I agree that purchasing them with cash should have a shorter delay on delivery. A new pack should drop its mech in the following month for those with a preorder, then have the longer typical wait for the MC and c-bill release.
