We got a lot more heroes in the game. What's your best earner? Oldie like the Yen Lo? Or one of them new fangled Clan heroes? Perhaps the trashcan hero. :3

Deathstrike.

I'd probably say Virago just because I enjoy the HBR chassis more but I don't have one... And objectively, you're probably making more off of the DS.

I'd recommend something that a) you already have, and enjoy, and b: something you already do well in. No sense buying a mech just to learn that you hate it, and/or do poorly in.

For me, that's an Ebon Jag-EDC, or maybe a Virago.

Hellbringer hero, Virago. I use the invasion and Loyalty Hellbringers myself.

You gain boatloads of money from flanking and hit and run attacks which are given on practically every attack you make since you have ECM and usually mid-long range weapons. Just make sure to upgrade your ecm nodes in skill tree.

Aside from the flanking and hit and runs, the mech can easily be configured to run a 78 damage alpha strike of 6 ERML and 2 HLLs, allowing each one of those trades that gives you flanking and hit and run awards to also be favorable trades, resulting in a match ending in high damage output, respectable kills, and many component destructions.

If I had to go with a hero of a chassis I already enjoy. It'd have to be the Rifleman hero then. I've been running one with Quad UAC2s. Which I know someone might give me flak over not using AC2s. But I really enjoy playing it. Even though I have to run an under engine XL. It's just fun to play with.

The Scorch with its LBX/SRM brawler setup. Great mech with a great build.
It completely replaced my Bounty Hunter for farming Cbills, and even that thing is no joke.

My best earner isn't a Hero, it's the SNV-1(S) with both C-Bill boosting cockpit items.

2 HLL, 6ERML, STD 325, 27-30 DHS, 0-1 JJ.

The Cataphract hero the Illya Muroments. 3 lbx 10 and 2 medium lasers. This thing always pulls its weight and makes me money.

Purifier is my moneymaker. AMSX3, ER medium x2 in the right torso and an ER Large in the left so i can protect the ECM and AMS while I poke. People tend to ignore me so I can usually strip off components and even steal a few kills while I provide support for my team.

My win rate with that mech is far above anything else I own. I have come very close to 600k on a quick play conquest win with it. 250k on a loss with 350k+ on a win is fairly standard.

Does not work for everyone, you really need to focus on your positioning to protect your fatties. Keep them alive and they win the match for you......you may be the unsung hero but hey.....cbills baby.

I have a few that I like to use when i'm farming.

My first hero mech was the Pretty Baby, It's an awful mech, truly dreadful but I do well in it and It's my go to cBill printing press.
After that in order of effectiveness for me:
Victor 9A1(L)
ANH 2A(S)
MAD IIC(S)
MCII 1(S)
HBK 4P(S)
ARC Tempest
HBR F(L)
KFX G(L) Triple AMS for easy money
MAL KO
MAD IIC SC
UM K9
KGC 000L
HGN HM
Misery
Firebrand
AS7 S(L) Would be higher on the list but its a bad mech lets face it.. Fun, situational, but needs love from PGI.

The Hunchie from the recent event. However my Orion V and Urbie R63 both out earn it.

I usually do very well in the RFL-LK with xl290, two mpl's, two lb10x's, and as much ammo as I can pack.
You gotta watch your side torsos, but for me that's quite manageable.

The Purifier and Grinner

The reason I perfer the Purifier is because of those 4 high mounted lasers. with them I just barely have to peak over a ridge to get weapons on my enemy which combined with ECM means I am near invisible if I am playing correctly. Also since you can reach out to 460m full damage by skilling for range means I can sit well back inside my ECM coverage envelop and snipe as required. I don't play it as a dedicate sniper though, rather I generally play it as a second line support mech usually fairly close in to my heavies and supports while using my ECM and decent speed/mobility/JJs to weave in and out of the battle to exploit enemy weaknesses I see. This nets we a ton of Flankings, Protected Lights, etc. That being the case it is not uncommon for me to hit 400k earned a match with premium. I generally run ECM, 5 x ERML and JJ legs on it plus all the DHS I can fit.

My other go to for C-bills is the Wolfhouse Hero, Grinner. I play this alot like my Purifier except as more of an active combatant playing much closer to the front line as a hit and run attacker. I have 5 x ER ML mounted along with a Light 280. This gives it a 129 kph speed which is more than adequate for the role. On this mech I went near full armor on the skills which makes it tanky as hell, more like a 50 ton medium than a 35 ton light. No JJs of course. Same earning potential as the Purifier.

Hellbringer Hero is a good option as well if you want something heavier at least if you know how to get the most out of ECM. If not, then there are better options.

I think I'll echo the sentiment about the HBR Virago. I don't have one (debating purchase), but the Loki in general is a great high-mount laser vomit chassis that can put out big numbers and the Virago won't be any different.

The best part is that if you keep the stock 8/8 pods, you get -10% energy heat (combine with skill tree for -20.5% heat, that's stupidly insane) and +10% ER laser range, despite having four high mounted lasers and two extra arm lasers. On paper it actually looks pretty OP. I would imagine that a build like 2 HLL + 4 ERML would be incredible on this thing, but as said before I don't have this hero (yet?).

I'd say that it's probably this or something with huge pinpoint damage, because busting components is good money. Not sure if there's a good IS equivalent to this Shadowcat, but maybe the Arrow? I don't own that mech, so I wouldn't be able to say for sure.
