PGI needs to add new consumables instead of allowing people to use more than one of the existing types.

like if you could use 1 strike, 1 coolshot, 1 uav, 1 fake radar contact generator

that would be fine.

Meh! I'd rather use six smoke screen consumables than any combination of strikes and cool shots. It's called specialization. Everyone getting one of each is so flavorless.

I'll never get why PGI nerfed consumable to begin with, then come skill tree gave people access to two of EVERYTHING, including upgrades from the standard versions. Once people figured out how good they were, everyone invested fully into the consumable tree. Two UAVs, two airstrikes, two cool shots. Games are fought and won on consumables way too often.

A business decision drove a game skill decision which drove game play decisions that drove comp/elite/foundering players to complain which drove the nerfs........ Full circle.... See, the few are not even happy with the nerfs....they want 0 strikes, 0 LRM's, 0 Streaks, 0 ATM's or any weapon that challenges their established playstyles..... Change = Bad.

Are you sure? I can foresee people loudly crying on the forums that they did not see anything but smoke the entire match. Posted Image

There is a way to offer "Honorable Combat". It's the All-Chat. Then it's just a question of whether the rest of the larger team, and the recipient of the offer, will hold up the terms.

Myself and at least 2 of my friends that play this game have the all-chat disabled. I realize my sample size of 4 friends is very small, but I suspect a lot of people have no reason to talk to the enemy and have disabled it to reduce the number of sore winners/losers we have to mute each game.

Bring back purple smoke. The drop caller, ship commander, announcer is always telling me we have artillery online anyway.

I have no use for the Module Stats. It can be removed for all I care. However, I would like to see strike stats moved to Weapon Stats or at least include it in the Weapons Stats. It would be nice to know how much and what percentage of damage they actually do. Since strikes do dish out damage they should be listed in the Weapon Stats.

Quite often I watch helplessly mechs avoiding taking damage from strikes because of the added timer. Who knows, I may be able to fine tune the delivery if I know how much damage strikes are dealing when dropped a certain way or location.
