How does this look? ATMs for some serious short/mid-range punch, plus 2 LBX10s that can fire without bumping heat. 3 flamers to make a bad day for anyone who tries to get close.
BOILER
It is a bit on the slow side at 58kph.
I am trying to find a good hero to buy while on sale...

The Jester and Pirate's Bane are definitely two heros to look out for.
The Arrow can work very good as well.
It really depends on what you're looking for.

What I'm seeing when I look at the Boiler is a mech that can be a brawler, a sniper, or a mid-range combatant, depending solely on how I build it. It looks like a very flexible chassis, which is good for a Hero mech.
It has no quirks and thus mediocre durability, but there are a number of other assaults that also don't have durability quirks, even on the IS side (+20 total structure is pretty meaningless).
Do those of you who have it like it? How does it stack up vs Atlas (DDC), Marauder IIC (D), etc.?

I think the Boiler most closely matches up with the MAD IIC Scorch. I would say in a 1v1 against an Atlas AS7-S, KDK-SB, Annihilator, or a Scorch, it isn't the best option if you are both fresh and you don't get the drop on the enemy.
Having said that, I currently run mine as a straight up brawler with 2 LB20Xs, 3 ASRM6s, and 3 MPLs. It runs hot, but can hold it's own pretty well if you know how to brawl. Like all assault brawlers, its effectiveness is situational, depending heavily on the quality of your team and the map.
Edit:
Crap, I really need to look a thread dates. I didn't mean to necro this one.

I myself am still experimenting with mixed builds. After I play a game or two I will post some builds here.
