First-Person MechBay
Currently planned to roll out alongside Solaris, 2018 will bring with it the ability for you to step onto the ground floor of your MechBay and view your currently-selected 'Mech up close. We'd like to stress that this feature is relatively narrow in scope, aimed simply at enabling you to view your 'Mechs at proper scale with all the glory of your Loadout and customizations on display. This first-person view will not include a walking pilot model, and at least upon its initial release, the MechBay is not expected to support any customization features.

Not only is this for MW5Merc and not MWO, but it actually is MWO assets.. This "walk-in mech bay" and the MWO Homescreen where you spin your mech are ONE AND THE SAME.
Just thought I should point that out..

look at all that junk
they need to get rid of that center scaffolding system it just clutters up the image
hope the criticism does not sound to harsh/salty

Judging by the doors underneath the 'mechs that look like a lift system I would gather that this is either the interior of a dropship or a 'mechbay that is designed to lower the 'mech out of the mechbay to the ground below. Otherwise, how are the 'mechs supposed to leave with that center scaffolding that you pointed out?

They turn around and exit away from the spine of the ship, like in the opening of the video. Or drop out like they do for the match openers in MWO.

It is squatting over a latrine. Probably to fit into the cramped space or this is how PGI thinks its shutdown posture would look despite how that would create additional and unnecessary strain on the Myomer muscles... and the fact that when a mech shuts down, emergency or otherwise, the joints actually lock into place due to the lack of electrical signals going through the muscles (this is also why mechs can fall down with a shutdown, as they literally lock into any position or posture it was in, even if in mid-stride in a full sprint).
Adhering to lore...selectively.
The thing by its left leg (to your right) is a worker's elevating platform.

That is not true.
One, where is the number 4?
Two, notice the additional platforms?
Three, someone took the "level" of the Mechbay and put it into a CryEditor. It is a neat but square room with a single console with a touchscreen holographic display to the left of the only position for the mech, with some pipes overheat and a single elevated platform to the left with no consoles or other devices which generates electrical sparks but has no physical human there... even though the game files have a "Technician."
There are some catwalks in the original but nothing like what is shown in the Mw5 image.
Also there are mechanical arms mounted to the walls, and a LOT of clear space.
Overall it is basically a dumbed down version of the one used in the MWO trailer.
Said mechbay's layout, prior to the dumbing down.
Doors at the feet, drop from the bottom.
The platform was removed with UI 2.0 and the room had actually shrunk significantly, though the same console is still in the same spot in the background.
It now looks like this.
Now compare the image.
None of these features are present in the shown image and the latest video shows that this is ACTUALLY the interior of the Leopard, behind each standing mech is a Leopard Dropship's door (which are mounted to the walls, not the floor as is MWO's mechbay.. ... and this is in fact, NOT a Mechbay at all. (Neither is MWO's). This is a dropship bay, which cannot do customization and can do little more than minor repairs and rearm.
