I know, that's why I am confused. He is the only stand-out player in the screenshot, FALL3N just has the best damage on the IS side.

i am not sarcastic, i own 290 mechs, clan and IS, so i am pointing out an excellent IS mech to help the community

So going back to my question of "is this sarcastic?" Unless he's trying to say that new IS mechs are not stopping top clan players from getting ridiculous scores so therefore they are not worth it (which would be sarcastic in the way he phrased it)...

whatever man, i don't have to convince you.
i just want some mediocre IS players to use proper mechs in order to improve the overall quality of the matches.
these people can trust my suggestion or go somewhere ealse.

Yeah - Standing in the Back "unseen" as long as possible while serving a good amount of damage to the front line mechs is, yeah a cool way to improve overall Teamplay.

Men - The OP is calling IS player to bring better long range sniping mechs!

I mean, yeah, we know JGx is one of the top teams in the game and the PUG-shielding performance is exceptional, but it in no way validates using a Thanatos with Gauss and XL having fun together in a single over-sized component especially when that score wasn't even obtained by playing a Thanatos.

Like, okay, would you take that Thanatos when facing off against Oz, EmP, or EON? Probably not. If you were compelled to take an IS Heavy for that range, you'd probably take some flavor of Grasshopper, Warhammer, or Marauder and it would either be all ERLL or three ERLL with a single Gauss.

Do you want to take the advice of using those kind of mechs in fp? Take it.
Do you dislike it? Don't take it and bring your sadness somewhere ealse.
I am not expecting you to understand JGx playstyle or the mechanics of this game.
If pushing in with srms like a bunch of sheeps suits better to your playstyle, whatever, i don't care.

Any 'Mech can be used in a meta way. Strapping ERLL and other range-matched weapons onto a 'Mech isn't rocket science. That some people steadfastly refuse to do so is not something you are going to fix.
