I have played all of the mechwarrior games produced for PC, and have eagerly anticipated this next installment to a great franchise.

I would definately like to participate.

Heh count me in as well. I actually beta'd an earlier attempt at a Mechwarrior Online many years back, can't recall the name of it though.

*** i was so buzzrd when my freind sent me this link to MWO its the coolest news i have heard all year i have been palying MW games since MW2 came out and i have read most of the books i just really love the genre, and i would hella love to get into any prerelease testing action.

There are those of of us that have been playing BattleTech 25+ years...

...and you don't see US getting this worked up over the video game.

Also, if you've only played the video games, come over and try the board game and role playing game. They may not be as graphically stunning, but you kick more **** and have better weapons than in any of the video games.

I found MW with 2 and it is still my favorite. Here is hoping MWO will be so awesome that 2 is finally bumped from the top of the list.

That being said I would love to be in on testing to. Not so that I can contribute or help... Those would only be possible side effects of my desire to cripple and crush my enemies from the inside of a giant war machine.

Typically companies pull productive members from the forums for the first pool of beta testers. They never pull people out of the "let me in" threads.

So, get out of the "me too" line and be productive 8)

I have been a fan for nearly 15 years, I have an original copy of Battledroids, a tattooo of Clan Snow Raven (even though I identify with Clan Ghost Bear), and have a wide collection of source material.

I really want to be a part of this universe.

The best way for beta invite is random selection based on computer specs, imo.

If you are a man that has played anything involving Mech Warrior/Battletech or any of its counter parts and you don't want to play this, then please allow me to slap you upside the head. ESPECIALLY if you aren't wanting to play the beta. Sure there will be bugs but betas are meant to be broken and to find all of the bugs. LETS DO THIS THING! LET ME IN!

Just a suggestion, maybe it could at least buy some food/beer or help development but I would pay for a kickstarter type investment for alpha/beta access. Would sort some of the play for free people from those who really wanted to beta test and make an investment into it.

I too want to be in a beta! I remember playing MW2 waaaaay back when I was 5 in '96, so I was enthralled with it since the very beginning of my gaming life.
