Huge fan of Battletech and MechWarrior. MechWarrior was the game that got me started in online gaming. If a beta is available I would love to participate.

LoL Really? I'm all for playing as soon as I get a chance and watching development... But I wouldn't pay to be in the beta of any game these days. Too many disappointments. Too much wasted money that I couldn't afford to lose.

I Remember the dday my older brother brought home these metal figured when i was kid and feel in love with the table top miniature game and moved to play the old PC games. I would love to jump in on the Alpha/Beta test. Who kows maybe i get to try it out or wait till it comes out either way it will be a blast contributing to the game on any level

Also, I would love to beta test, but they have yet to talk about system requirements. It's ironic that this game is a PC only title now, seeing as how my laptop is 8 years old and I have been talking about getting an updated PC. Here is my reason.

If there is an open Beta test, then I would like to participate. I want to see if Piranha is going in the right direction with the game and give opinions and suggestions. If they make a faithful game, I stay. Drop the ball, I leave. Then I'll stick around to see whether they keep to their promise of not making it P2W. pfft

I sure hope my Internet connection will be up to the task.

I wouldn't pay expressly for beta. But if it was like, "Pay now, get in-game loot/mechs/C-Bills/whatever you get for money after launch... PLUS beta access" then sure.

Ah, nostalgie. Started with MechWarrior in 1992, then MW2 series (Mercs rox), MechCommander, MW3 (not so bad), MW4 (not impressed, but good point with slots), MegaMek. I want to believe. Keep the faith, guys!
